May be issues using with Atomos Shinobi 7 monitor

WANPF970. These are high capacity NP-F batteries. Note 10,050mAh on these Watsons. They worked fine for a while in my Atomos Shinobi 7 monitor. It started to behave oddly, screen information disappeared, then monitor would not power on with the Watson batteries. Another brand of NP-F battery worked fine. Atomos tech support later told me only to use 5200mAh batteries. Their manual for the Shinobi states 5200mAh or 7800mAh. Atomos says higher capacity batteries could damage Shinobi mainboard. Returned the big Watsons to B&H and bought Shinobi batteries. Can't afford to have that happen during a shoot with clients waiting.

Watson makes good batteries for half the price of Sony products. They keep their charge, and work well in still and cinema cameras. A great battery for monitors.

High quality solid battery. It can get heavy over a period of time but lasts a long time.

This works well. It fits as it should and has 10,050 mAh. Many competitors top out around 7,000.

Great alternative for the Sony brand!

Watson is always a guaranteed closest to OEM every time!

I try to buy Watson whenever I'm in a pinch and need a new OEM battery but sometimes it's not an option (like when the LPE6NH batteries were back ordered for months). I have the Atomos 5200mah version of this battery and the Watson being at 4400mah loses you MAYBE 10-15 minutes compared to the original when using with the Ninja V monitor. I will say, that I purchased a Watson charger for this exact battery and immediately it wouldn't indicate a full charge until I put it on my Atomos brand charger. Not a huge deal and in no way indicates that this isn't a quality battery, but if you're buying the charger for it to match, be careful? I don't know, maybe I got a dud of sorts on that.

Is this battery compatible with feelworld f6 plus? Im thinking of having this battery then power up zcam e2c from the monitor, is that possible?
Asked by: Luther
Yes this battery is compatible with the Geelworld F6. The Feelworld F6 might be able to power the camera if you have the correct adapter. I would call B&H and adk them as they are very knowledgeable.

How long will this last with Smallrig Battery plate and a canon R6?
Asked by: Nikolas
Unfortunately I do not have an R6, so I can't answer that. I use the batteries for Ninja recorders, a portable LED light and all my Sony mirrorless cameras. They will last many hours, up to 3-4 hours usually if not more on all the devices.

question

Is this battery has a specific layout for locking? I have a few different NP-F batteries and all of them work fine across all devices that I have. But this Watson NP-F975 doesn't lock properly on most of my gear (LED, chargers, adapters). It doesn't lock right and it looses connection from little movements, although it's still work on Atomos Shogun and on one of LED lights. The pattern on back of the batterie is offset from others (various brands). Do I have a malfunction battery or the locking layout is specific to Watson?
