Electro-Voice EVF-1152D Overview

The black EVF-1152D Single 15” 2-Way Full-Range Loudspeaker System from Electro-Voice is a high-power, 2-way loudspeaker system that can be used in a variety of applications where high-quality sound reinforcement is required. It utilizes the DH7N 3” titanium compression driver, coupled to a Constant Directivity 90 x 40° waveguide. The system also uses DVX3151A 15” woofer, developed using FEA optimization for motor, suspension, and electrical design to ensure very low distortion, high efficiency, and maximum intelligibility at high SPL. The crossover uses steep, 24 dB per octave slopes with equalization for very smooth response in the vocal range, linear off-axis response, and a protection circuit for long-term reliability.

The loudspeaker system is enclosed in a 13-ply birch PI-weatherized IP55-rated enclosure with EVCoat for protection from elements. This PI-weatherized loudspeaker system is rated for outdoor exposure only in protected areas such as under a roof overhang. The acoustic and rigging design allows for vertical and horizontal clusters to be built using any combination of loudspeakers from the entire EVF and EVH series. A 70.7/100V transformer kit can be easily mounted to the input panel for use in distributed systems.

The system offers 7 horn patterns with an assortment of low-frequency and subwoofer loudspeakers to maximize flexibility of system design as per your requirements. The input panel features a Phoenix-style connector and gland-nut cover plate for weatherizing applications. In addition, an externally accessible jumper selects passive or active operation.
