The 5 x 7' Chroma Pop Portable Blue Green Screen Studio from Digital Juice is a flexible and easy way to always have a perfect keying background when you need one. At 5 x 7', it's large enough for two-shot, horizontally or vertically, either in studio or location. When not needed, it quickly and neatly folds into a circle that is 1/3 its original size, similar in size to a bicycle tire - small enough to fit in the trunk of your car or storage closet.

The material is a durable high-grade polyester that can stand up to multiple pro or amateur use. The Chroma Pop brings an extra benefit to the table. It's backed with a 32 density foam that is not see-through so you need not worry about any bleed when shooting or when you drop in software.

The unit quickly pops open and stays open  due to its strong spring steel frame. The frame is also designed to stay flat when in use. The frame is also supplied with various touch fastened loops by which you can hang it. Or, it can be supported with your C or traditional light stand. You can even simply prop it up against a wall.

The 5 x 7' Chroma Pop Portable Blue Green Screen Studio is easy to transport, store and use. It also solves the problem of purchasing multiple backgrounds. With its ease of use and flexibility, it can serve you in a wide variety of shooting scenarios.

2-in-1 Green and Blue Screen
It doesn't matter which one you need because the double-sided Chroma Pop offers both options in one portable pop-up screen
Compact and Portable
Steel band frame that allows the unit to be collapsed into a much smaller size. Just use a small amount of force in the right place and the large screen is reduced to the size of a standard bicycle tire -- only it's much lighter and, thanks to a handy carrying case, easy to transport
High-Quality Material
The Chroma Key background fabric is constructed of a high-grade green and blue color polyester fabric fused together using 32 density foam. The unit's collapsible frame is made from hardened tempered spring steel making it strong, but flexible
Not too big to get in the way, but big enough to do full body shots with two adults
Easy to Use
All it takes is the right twist of the wrist with a little pressure applied and the Chroma Pop screen responds, twisting into two halves and then collapsing into a 30" (76.2 cm) diameter circle. Expanding the Chroma Pop screen is even easier. Just give it a nudge in the right direction and the Chroma Pop screen does the rest -- practically expanding all by itself. Then it's a simple matter of using the Chroma Pop's many tabs or loops to secure the unit into place on a stand or against a wall, giving you a clean background for your subject matter

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful product but some things are... I found it very useful thing but overall made quality needs certain improvements. First - transport bag. Ziplock died at first day of use - not good, cause now I have to look for other bag. Frame is relatively rigid but for some reason really hard to fold back - it always fights you regardless of doing it right or wrong. I have lost of other bounces, who folds same way - these I can fold back with 3 fingers. This one needs some extra efforts I would say. Both colours works amazing so it does chromakey the way it should. One pick for the colour - done. Of cause if you are shooting with proper 4:2:2 HD camera :) And proper soft lights. With DSLR or AVCHD cameras you gonna struggle for the clean key regardless of backdrop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very useful tool I find this to be a very well made collapsible green/blue screen. The size is adequate for my needs; the colors are bright; and the fabric has a non-reflective quality that seems to limit spill. The velcro straps are strong and long enough to work horizontally with my sectioned background stand kit, which is 9' when using three sections. It collapses easily and fits nicely in the included carry bag. There are some wrinkles because, lets face it, it's folded up. But with proper lighting and separation from the subject, it shouldn't present a problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great portable solution I was a little hesitant to spend over $ on a portable chroma-screen. However, when you compare quality and convenience this is the most logical solution. Why this is the best collapsible Chromascreen:The material is thick which prevents backgrnd light from leaking through. The metal frame gives the screen a taught/resilient build. My biggest issues:The Velcro straps on the edges pull on the actual chroma material giving tiny snags in the material. Velcro is a bad idea on a collapsible screen. Making sure the straps are completely Velcroed shut should prevent future snags... I hope. Closing the screen takes practice, because it's not quite intuitive. Plenty of YouTube how to's on the internet. I am getting more efficient, but the first few attempts I'll admit I looked just to the left of ridiculous trying to collapse the screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's green.. It's blue.. it'll work for you! It's green on one side, blue on the other... It easily pops up and has fancy little velcro tabs to attach to rails, fences, or a set of stands. It even stands on it's own when you lean it up against a wall. We use it for head shots of our athletes and it travels in our road case around the country. Solid, durable, handy... what else do you need in a portable chroma screen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for a quick change from Green/Blue This is great for location work and taking on the road. You get set up with a green screen shot and the talent comes in with a green shirt on. The Chroma-Pop is easy to flip over to blue and start shooting with little time wasted. The blue side takes a little more light than the green to get up to the same level. The material is heavy which won't let light bleed through from the backside, very good when shooting in a room with windows. The were a few wrinkles embedded in the screen from where it had sat packed in storage for a while before being purchased. A quick camera test showed that the wrinkles where not significant enough to cause any keying problems. Leaving the Chroma-Pop open, pulled taught, and hanging on a frame for several days has reduced the hard wrinkles. Watch the velcro straps all around it, they will snag the screen material. Just keep the hook part covered. This is a good and useful tool. I'm glad we bought the Chroma-Pop instead of a cheaper screen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Location or studio with Chroma Pop The Chroma Pop from Digital Juice is a very convenient portable background for chromakey in video or still photography. 5 x 7 feet (positioned horizontally) is a nice size for filming a seated figure from the waist up. For a standing figure I recommend using it vertically, even though you will have use electronic matting in post to clean up the edges. The green is a good high energy color that does not require a lot of light. For filming two seated figures together you may find it small. It helps to increase the distance of the camera from the foreground figures and use the long end of the lens. At this perspective the background reads larger in relation to the figures than it will when you use the wide end of the lens. So your figures will fit better in front of the background. If your talent shows up wearing a green outfit just use the BLUE side instead of the green for good separation. It needs more light, but works great. The Chroma Pop is supported by a flexible internal frame. Once open it will stand nicely if you lean it against the wall. And it has velcro straps on all sides to facilitate hanging it from a pole or mounting it on a frame. The device does show some wrinkling from being folded up. But in my experience it does not prevent it from allowing a clean keying effect in post. The opening and closing of the Choma Pop takes a little getting used to. Think of a giant version of a pop open reflector. Several videos on YouTube give good demonstrations of how to reclose it for travel so you can put it in the circular zipper bag. It's worth the trouble because the folded up Chroma Pop is literally small enough to take on a public bus or in the smallest of subcompact cars.
