A fast and flexible normal-length prime, the XF 35mm f/1.4 R from FUJIFILM is a 53mm-equivalent lens characterized by its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture. This design benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also affords greater control over depth of field for isolating subject matter and using selective focus techniques. The optical design employs one aspherical element, which reduces distortion and spherical aberrations in order to achieve higher sharpness and accurate rendering. A Super EBC coating is also featured, which reduces flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity.

FUJIFILM XF 35mm f/1.4 R Reviews
Superb Fuji Classic 50
There are two versions of this lens - this classic 35mm and a newer and larger 33mm, both f/1.4. I opted for this because it's more compact. It's a joy to use. The boka is marvelous. The low-light capability opens up new existing-light opportunities. The focusing is responsive. The slight noise of the focusing motor is negligible. And the traditional 50-mm equivalent on Fuji's crop sensor is yet another pleasure. Highly recommended!
Buttery smooth bokeh
This lens wide open has some of the nicest bokeh I have seen. It's a great walk around lens if you are ok zooming with your feet. Overall, really excited with this purchase!
LOVE THIS LENS
This lens is so handy, it is small and compact and takes razor sharp photos. Love the wide aperture, and the clarity. Truly happy! Thanks!
I LOVE IT.
What more can i say. Shooting on the streets at night it never leaves my Fuji X T4.
Beautiful Portraits!
The portraits coming out of this lens are beautiful it's sharp and has a gorgeous bokeh that being said it is a very noisy lens(makes noise when it's focusing) which it's kinda annoying and I did know this before I bought the lens which is why I gave it the 5 stars it's noisy but the portraits are amazing. I use it with the x-t30ii and it pairs nicely with it nice compact size for me.
amazing
it is so nice, it makes everything look good
Great character
I've owned many lenses from Nikon, to Canon, to Fuji in my 35 years in photography and there are those lenses that just have indescribable character. Yes, it's jumpy and noisy, mechanically, but it's plenty sharp where it counts and renders beautifully in color and contrast. To top it all off, it's tiny and lightweight.
Great Lens
Bought this lens back in 2015. It has treated me well on few camera bodies, providing me with so many memorable photos. What's not to love? It's sharp, compact and will always remain the majority of it's life on my X-Pro3.I am ordering a new one as my old one is really warned out.
