SanDisk 64GB Overview

  • 1Description

This 64GB SDXC Extreme Class 10 UHS-I Memory Card from SanDisk features a maximum read speed of 45 MB/s along with a maximum write speed of up to 45 MB/s. This card has minimum transfer speeds of 10 MB/s. Such speeds enable smooth continuous burst shooting, Full HD video capture, and card-to-computer transfers. Additionally, the card is built to withstand up to 72 hr in 3.3' of salt or fresh water, and is also shockproof and immune to X-rays. A built-in write-protect switch prevents data from being accidentally modified, overwritten or deleted, while its Advanced Error Correction Code engine reduces the risk of errors during data storage and retrieval, and prevents potential data corruption.

One year of downloadable RescuePRO media recovery software allows you to restore images that have been accidentally deleted. Additionally, you can write on the card's blank label for easy identification and organization, and you can store and protect the card in the supplied jewel case. Your investment is backed by a limited lifetime warranty (30-years in Germany, Canada, and regions that do not recognize lifetime warranties).

    SanDisk 64GB Reviews

64GB Extreme UHS-I SDXC Memory Card (Class 10) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 195.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Potential issue with a SDXC card I use the SanDisk SDXC with a Sony DSC100V camera. It seems to work fine in the camera meaning I can take still's and Video and review them on the camera but when I try to download to the PC there appears to be an issue. I'm not sure if the issue is with the card or the Sony's Picture Motion Browser (PMB). When I try to download to a PC, PMB does not recognize the pictures or the videos in the camera's memory chip. No error message just a blank screen. It is frustrating when you can see the pics on the camera but can't download them. Until I find out if the issue is with the card or PMB, I would not recommend the card

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great MemCard for My Panasonic GH2 This card works great on my camera recording HD Videos. I get between 8 and 12 hours of Full HD 1080i/1080p/24p record time depending on my settings. This thing rocks, because it's rock steady... no dropouts or latency problems. And even though my camera should work fine with a series 10 at lower read/write rates, some cards are over rated and can give you problems... But this card is faster than I should need and SanDisk is one of the best out there for this class of card. I'm totally happy with it, and B&H has always been a relyable, no hassle source for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will buy more of these - fast cards I am using these cards in my D800 and they are keeping up while I shoot in RAW and while I am taking HD movies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly I bought the 64GB memory card for my new Nikon Coolpix L-820 camera because, while it is primarily a still-picture camera, it shoots excellent video with sound. The 8GB SanDisk memory card I had would have been perfectly adequate for stills, but I am going to Africa this summer and plan to shoot a lot of video. Video files are huge, and having a card that can store 16 hours of video means I don't have to worry about running out of storage. With 64GB and AA lithium batteries, I'm not worried about camera failure at crucial times. The card, like the smaller one, works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great SD card! SanDisk is the best and this 64 GB card not only has a huge capacity for photos and video, it is also reliable and performs as advertised. It is compatible with my new Nikon D3200 for photos and video (even in RAW format it has a high storage capacity!) Have not uploaded to my computer yet but so far so good. Would highly recommend to anyone with a DSLR looking for one card to do both photos and video and not have to change out cards often due to getting full. Writes and reads fast!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for HD video shooting rmating this SDcard was a bit of a hassle because you only have NTSF or exFAT to format selection, no FAT32, I contacted the SanDisk Support and they're no help, and don't even know hot to convert exFAT to FAT32 format, so I research for 2 days and found one that can format this SDcard exFAT to FAT32 using the free software called Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd Guiformat, and now i'm happy with this card, and will recommend it, and i'll be upgrading to 128GB next. This SD Card can record a (720p) 1280x720, 60fps, and can store lots of video recording time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SanDisk has never failed for me I've only ever used SanDisk SD memory cards, from about a decade ago with compact cameras up to now with much heavier use in dSLRs, and touch wood I've never had a problem or card failure. This 64gb card is probably too big for my needs but it was considerably cheaper than two 32gb cards, so I got it instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SanDisc performs as always I use this in my Nikon D800. It offers more than enough storage for the camera's large RAW files. Good write/read speed as well. While other cards do offer faster file transfers, this card is a great bargain for the price as file transfers are manageable in terms of time. A great middle of the road card.
