Safeguard your lens with the Lens Cover for Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 IS from LensCoat. This water-resistant neoprene cover is custom-built to fit tightly around your lens, and helps protect it against bumps and scratches that may occur while you are out shooting. The neoprene material also acts as thermal barrier between your hands and the lens, making operation more comfortable in extreme heat or cold.

For simplified operation, the case has cutouts that allow you to use the manual focus ring and access the auto-focus, focus limiter, and stabilizer switches. The Realtree AP Snow pattern is primarily white and features a subtle pattern of leaves and branches that is well-suited to hiding your gear from wildlife when shooting outdoors during the winter. This product is made in the USA.

Note: this product cannot cover the fixed portion of the lens barrel due to the way in which the barrel extends and retracts. It leaves approximately 3" of the lens barrel exposed when the lens is fully extended.

  • Water-resistant neoprene cover that is custom-built to fit the Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 IS
  • Protects lens from bumps and scratches that can happen during use
  • Makes lens use more comfortable during extreme heat or freezing conditions
  • Cutouts for accessing manual focus ring and control switches
  • Realtree AP Snow pattern that helps disguise lens during winter and keep wildlife undisturbed

Lens Cover for Canon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 IS (Realtree AP Snow) is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reduce the Bling Effect This collection of items covers the various moving segments of the lens - which is rather large. The lens is white, and by itself makes quite a visual 'statement'. This set tones things down so that the lens isn't quite as much of a visual standout. This probably helps nature photographers (which I don't do much) but it definitely helps some with people. Perhaps more importantly, it provides a modicum of protection against the elements and minor impacts. I find that the element to cover the sunshade doesn't stay on well, and have just removed it to keep from having it protruding and catching on things. Elsewise the set is satisfactory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LensCoat, yeah! What a great product. Once you put the product on your lens, it has a snug fit. I have mine on several lenses for a few years and never have to think about it except to be grateful for all the scratches I don't have. Product performs exactly as advertised.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's far better than nothing Since I use the lens for everything from shooting wildlife & birds to lightning during rain storms to petroglyphs while perched in some weird places, my camera and lens need protection! I had hoped for more protection and something that would dependably stay in place. This gear provides about 60 percent security, hence the rating, as the elements shift easily when brushed, and the lens shade piece falls off every time the lens touches anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One smart purchase As a pro I am very rough on my gear. This cover is peace of mind knowing I am protecting it from scratches and nicks. Love how it fits. The camo pattern also conseals the white lens when I am in the field with wildlife.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised I'm of the opinion that anyone who cares about keeping these expensive pro lenses in pristene condtion and without compromise, should have a lencoat. I like the product and find it easy to switch between white or differnt camo prints. I've now purchased several lenscoats in different patterns for wildlife work. It seems so simply but yet so smart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A waste of money The product is not a fully cover for the lens. It is divided and some parts of the lens are not covered. The manipulation for the IS and focus buttons is very uncomfortable. Also when I put the lens on my bag, the cover starts to slide from the lens.
