If the CF specs don't specifically call out compatible with RAW and JPEG formats does that mean that I cannot shoot & record RAW images to this disk?
CompactFlash memory card specifications do not indicate the file type that can be stored on the card. Any file that can be stored on a computer can be stored on a memory card, provided the file size is smaller than the memory card. All CompactFlash memory cards can store RAW and JPEG images.

Is it compatible with a Sony NEX 3?
The Sony NEX-3 uses SD memory cards, so would not be compatible with a Compact Flash memory card such as the 32GB CompactFlash Memory Card Professional 1000x UDMA. You could use the Lexar 32GB SDHC Memory Card Professional Class 10 600x UHS-I (B&H # LESD600X32GB).
