The black Mil-Std. Waterproof Case 8 - Empty from SKB is a very rugged and durable case for your photo, video and audio equipment. It's ATA 300 (Airline Transportation Association) rated; water and dust tight and made to take a licking. It also comes with a very handy ambient pressure equalization valve. For additional security and peace of mind, there are stainless steel locking loops that will accept a user-supplied TSA approved lock.

The case is secured with strong trigger latches and carried by its comfortable rubber cushioned grip handle. The injection molding is designed to be UV, solvent, corrosion and fungus resistant. SKB knows that cases take a beating during transportation, so they have designed this one to be impact-resistant. Even the hinge is molded into the case as well. Backed by its lifetime warranty, this 3I series case will provide you with a safe, secure and reasonably lightweight way to transport your valuable equipment.

SKB 1914N-8 Overview

The black Mil-Std. Waterproof Case 8 - Empty from SKB is a very rugged and durable case for your photo, video and audio equipment. This SKB Mil-Std. Waterproof Case 8 (B&H # SK3I1914N8BE, MFR # 3I-1914N-8B-E) is just a hair wider, with interior dimensions of 19.00 in (48.26 cm) long, 14.50 in (36.83 cm) wide, and 8.00 in (20.32 cm) deep. The other SKB 3I-1914-8B-E Mil-Std Waterproof Case 8 Deep (B&H # SK3I19148BE MFR # 3I-1914-8B-E) has barely smaller dimensions at: 19.00 in (48.26 cm) long, 14.38 in (36.53 cm) wide, and 8.00 in (20.32 cm) deep. Other than the width being slightly different, the SKB Mil-Std. Waterproof Case 8 (B&H # SK3I1914N8BE, MFR # 3I-1914N-8B-E) is a standard case with no wheels or long pull handle. While the SKB 3I-1914-8B-E Mil-Std Waterproof Case 8 Deep (B&H # SK3I19148BE, MFR # 3I-1914-8B-E) does have wheels and a long pull handle. The N version has no wheels while the other does.
