The Westcott PocketBox Round - 8.5" is an ideal solution for a multitude of problems inherent in on-camera flash use. The PocketBox Round sets up in seconds and is compatible with any shoe-type flash, whether you're using it on or off camera. First and foremost, it eliminates the harsh shadows produced with direct flash, especially when the flash is the main source of light. Since the light is diffused, redeye is minimized and contrast softened. The shape of the box produces round catchlights in the eyes of your subject for a natural look in portraiture. The PocketBox Round features a silver interior to maximize your flash's output, as well as a removable diffusion panel for even output.

    Pocketbox Round - 8.5" is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from great idea but needs to be perfected The idea is great, a small foldup softbox. The problem is that the metal spokes tend to weaken and when extended the softbox is somewhat flimsy. The picture in the illustration is great and that is what the pocketbox looks like when first opened, but it does not retain the shape for very long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I use this PocketBox with my SB700. It creates a nice even light. Design is a little bit flimsy, but it does the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly portable Was glad too see it didn't narrow the beam of light too much

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Perfect for when the flash is on a bracket with the camera for handholding but works great with the flash on a light stand, too. I push it in close for lovely diffused light. Makes nice, natural-looking round catch lights. Just wish I'd bought the kit cause I'll be getting more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from simple effective light modification The Pocketbox Round fits over my speedlights to soften the light, broaden it, and provide nice round catchlights in subjects' eyes. I suppose it would be possible to use multiple units on multiple speedlights but I have not tried that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just exactly what I need The most convenient unobtrusive modifier that's a snap to set up. The device is so light but very effective in use and storage since it lays flat and almost weghtless that fits in almost all camera bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to carry around modifier I think it's a great little modifier when you're in a hurry and don't have time to set up the big shadowbox this is fast and easy and better than using payroll flash

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I prefer to use our 32x40 softbox and studio lights...but when those are to cumbersome these are perfect!!
