question

This item has been out of stock for months everywhere. Are there any comparable brands / models you could recommend? Thank you.
Asked by: Jonathan
Yes unfortunately that is correct. Our System is showing an ETA of 10/01/16 on this item. The Barska 10x42 Level Waterproof Monocular would be somewhat comparable. The Bushnell I think is slightly better quality though. Website link: http://bhpho.to/2bSiIZR

can you star gaze with these?

can you star gaze with these?
Asked by: Dora
Yes of course you can stargaze. I am able to see the 4 moons of Jupiter distinctly when handholding the monocular. I was not able to see the rings of Saturn. You should also be able to see the Orion Nebula.

question

Lens caps? The older model had an eyepiece lens cap on a string and an objective cap on a hinge. What does the current model have for caps, if any?
Asked by: Richard
The setup on the lens cap on the newer model is the same with the hinge cap on the object lens and the removable cap on the eyepiece lens (with string).

question

is this used for night vision?
Asked by: Anonymous
Sorry about the delay in answering. I am just back from travelling the antarctic which is why I bought this. It has excellent optics but not recommended for night vision even though I have used in twilight conditions.
