98% braided shield offers protection from EMI and RFI noise.
Twin-conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core.
24 AWG oxygen-free stranded copper inner core provides the best possible conductivity.
Cotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noise.
All solder points shrink-wrapped for protection.
Neutrik XX silver connectors offer high conductivity.
Cast zinc shell and chuck style strain relief.

question

Is this really a quality cable? It's spec sheet is well written but I have some pretty serious doubts considering the price points are dramatically below most reputable brands. It's considerably cheaper than guitar center's livewire brand, which I would not consider to be a top quality product. Kopul's own website only offers a 1 year warranty.... Thoughts? Can anyone with longterm experience with this product attest to it's durability and reliable clean sound?

I've never used Kopul XLR cables, but I'm rather surprised at the design. Balanced audio is supposed to run on a twisted pair (either within a shield or not). The idea is that any RF noise encountered by the cable will be equal on both signal conductors and cancelled out at the differential input of the receiver. These cables appear to have signal conductors with their own shielding (conductive PVC?) and it's not clear whether they are twisted along the length. Either of those could potentially reduce the function of the balanced interface. Seems like someone did not understand the principles of balanced audio, but wanted to make the cable seem more robust. They still might work fine in many situations, but I would be wary.
