  • 1Description

The DAP-2310 AirPremier High Power N 1-Band Access Point from D-Link is a Single Band 802.11n access point ideal for any small or medium business that requires reliable wireless performance. The AirPremier is coupled with robust security, which turns it into a cost effective and easy to deploy package. With transfer rates of up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz N frequency range, users are able to connect with legacy 802.11b/g adapters in addition to the latest 802.11n adapters to enjoy faster downloads and instant communication. With extensive management options, versatile operation modes and Enterprise level security, the AirPremier provides SMB and SME environments with a powerful, business-class wireless solution.

Versatile Access Point
The AirPremier allows network administrators to deploy a highly manageable and extremely robust 802.11n wireless network. The included antennas are detachable and provide optimal wireless coverage in the 2.4 GHz (802.11g and 802.11n) band using a high power radio design to reduce dead spots and increase capacity. For advanced installations, this high-speed access point has integrated 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), making installation easy in areas where power outlets are not readily available
Enhanced Performance
The AirPremier delivers fast reliable wireless performance with maximum wireless signal rates of up to 300 Mbps. Coupled with support for Wi-Fi Multimedia Quality of Service (QoS) features, the AirPremier is an ideal access point for audio, video and voice applications. Additionally, the AirPremier supports load balancing features to ensure maximum performance by limiting the maximum number of users per access point
A Secure Wireless Network
In order to maintain a secure wireless network, the AirPremier provides a wide range of wireless security technologies, such as Personal and Enterprise WPA and WPA2 support. Other features include RADIUS Authentication, MAC Address Filtering, Rogue AP Detection, Disable SSID Broadcast, Wireless Broadcast Scheduling and more. The wireless LAN segmentation provides support for up to eight VLANS while the wireless client isolation limits direct client-to-client communication for added protection
Multiple Operation Modes
The AirPremier can be configured to optimize network performance with one of its multiple operation modes, which are Access Point, Wireless Client, Wireless Distribution System (WDS) and WDS with Access Point. With WDS support, network administrators can set up multiple AirPremier access points throughout an office and configure them to bridge with one another while providing network access to individual clients. Advanced features such as Load Balancing allows the AirPremier to optimize high network traffic volume with redundancy for fail-safe wireless connectivity
Network Management
Network administrators have multiple options for managing the AirPremier, which are internal Web interface (HTTP/HTTPS), Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Secure Shell (SSH) and Telnet. For advanced network management, administrators can use the D-Link AP Manager II or D-View SNMPv3 management module to configure and manage multiple access points from a single location. In addition to a streamlined management process, the AP Manager II and D-View software provides network administrators with the means to verify and conduct regular maintenance checks remotely, eliminating the need to send personnel out to physically verify proper operation
