Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, and so glad to have 3 (or 4 )ports As you may know, cards like these can be sketchy, sketchy drivers, vapor support, etc. I previously had the Western Digital 2 port USB 3 cards, but ran out of ports! (The WD cards have only 2 ports). I have no more free pcie slots in my computer. The WD and this card are equally fast, but this one hast he extra external port (3 total), and the forth port inside. I ran a USB cable out a hole in the computer case to make use of the forth one. Flawless drivers, operation, A+. I do however like the LED lights on the WD model which illuminate the ports and help you see where to insert the USB cables. This one has no lights, but still a great product. Nothing a LED headlamp can't fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good stuff I installed this in a PCI slot in about 2 minutes and instantly I had four usb 3.0 ports available on my win 8.1 machine. My only minor complaint is that one of the ports is inside the computer and that I was not aware of this. However, I realized that an internal port would be needed to connect an internal HDD or SSD. I recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need to run 3.0 drives I recieved the Card from B&H the day after I ordered it they ship quicly, Instalations was easy and the supplied software installed with no problem after attaching the 3.0 drive it worked properly when I rebooted the computer it did not recognize the dive I tried moving it to another slot and got the same result. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that the card was defective. I returned it to B&H and in a few day's recicved a New card. Installed the card and it's working great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the upgrade to 3.0 After trying to upgrade with multiple, cheaper cards from a different online retailer, I tried one more time with the SIIG card. I spent hours trying to make the other cards work, downloading drivers, reviewing forums, and buying additional cords. I popped the SIIG card in, installed the included driver, and Bam - there it was. It couldn't have been an easier install. I hooked up a new WD drive and I am amazed at the speed. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PNP on Win 8 (drivers resident in Win 8) The slot retaining bracket needed some additional bending to get it at 90 deg. to the board plane so that it to would seat correctly in the PCIe connector. The necessary drivers are already resident in Win 8 and the adapter was recognized and configured without needing any software/driver installation from the included CD ROM disc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great after downloading the correct driver. With Photoshop, I needed a little more horse power on my USB storage. And, the USB 3.0 stick makes it much easier to take large digital photo file to my professional friends, so they can work their magic on them. I highly recommend it. Not my first rodeo. Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy again and recommend if you don't have usb3.0. I used this in an older Dell system with W10 installed. It installed with no effort. The drivers are in the W10 system so there's nothing to do but restart your computer. It's a quick and easy process for increased throughput.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SIIG DP USB 3.0 4-Port PCIe i/e Adapter Card Excellent addition to an older computer. I paired this with a LaCie external hard drive array and my data transfer rates are up from 20MB/s to over 80MB/s using the USB 3 ports. Saves me a lot of time backing up data.
