Holga 120N overview

  • 1Description

The Holga HolgaGlo 120N Glows in the Dark Camera (Infra Red) is a delightful glow-in-the-dark version of the already jaunty Holga camera--everybody's favorite plastic camera since 1982. Once this 30th Anniversary Limited Edition HolgaGlo has been exposed to white light, it will vividly glow in the dark.

In addition, the HolgaGlo has all the features of a regular Holga: the slight softness of the images and random light leaks that produce dream-like, one-of-a-kind images; the characteristic vignetting that focuses the viewer's eye and adds to visual impact. It also has hot-shoe flash sync (flash not included) and it uses 120 roll film for 12--6x6 cm or 16--6x4.5 cm frames per roll. To focus, simply rotate the lens barrel to the focus setting (there are four) that fits your situation. Feel free to use your own setting that might fall between these icons. The HolgaGlo is perfect for personal image-making, fine art photos, and classroom instruction--and it's always provocative fun.

    Holga 120N reviews

HolgaGlo 120N Glows in the Dark Camera (Infra Red) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, attention-grabbing camera I've had a Holga 120 FN in basic black for many years. When I saw this fun, bright orange one, I decided to get a second holga so I can always have one loaded with color and the other loaded with B&W. This camera is great and does everything a Holga should do. It does leak light like crazy though -- and not always in a fun way. More like in a picture-ruining way. I've had to tape it up a lot, but I think I've got the light leaks licked now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this camera ... Sometimes I've used this camera for a college photography class and it works just as Holga Cameras do. The fact that it is bright red is amazing however the glow in the dark feature is never really used its not even that noticeable in the dark.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fun camera I am a semi-pro and I bought this camera and a Diana F+ for special effects and fun. The pictures are better than expected so far, because of the plastic lens. It does leak light when you least expect it.
