It uniquely offers networking functionality, such as intelligent interleaved Direct Memory Access (iiDMA), Dual Read DMA (DRDMA) and Overlapping Protection Domains (OPD). The QLE2464 adapter ensures that the demands of the enterprise-class data center are met. For virtualization at the Fiber Channel port level, the adapter supports N_Port ID virtualization (NPIV) by allowing multiple N_Port IDs to share the same physical Fiber Channel port.
