You bought the board, you bring it to some shows at bars, you've been putting it on your passenger seat, where you can keep an eye on it. Maybe it's time to get some real protection.I put my board in a case. It's a nice tilt-up case. However, I can not access the headphone jack when I use this case. So I ditched the case.This bag offers a great deal of protection. It fits snugly. It is well-padded. It has room for a laptop and a few cables. While it is not as bulletproof as my Gator case, it will protect $ worth of equipment well enough I won't worry about moving it around from place to place.Another plus, in the bag, it takes up less room than the case did. True, you won't want to stack a half ton of crap on top of it. And yet, I seem to be able to find a place for it among all the other large and heavy equipment I feel I need for a bar gig in my rather small vehicle.Listen, there is no reason to move your SL 1602 around without this bag at least. You're reading this review because you are thinking about it. It's $. Don't be a moron. Get the bag.
