Because of the 66 lb weight capacity, the tripod supports mirrorless to large format cameras for professional applications. Additionally, the legs fold 180° in the reverse, which makes it a compact 26.8", and the built-in bubble level along with the leveling center column ensures that your horizon is aligned every time.

The FEISOL Elite CT-3372LV Rapid CF Tripod Legs W/Leveling Center Column does come with the interchangeable Standard Base Plate, so that one could use the legs with or without the leveling center column.
