The CT-3441T Traveler Rapid Carbon Fiber Tripod from Feisol is a solid set of heavy-duty four-section carbon fiber legs that weigh 2.6 lb, hold up to 44 lb, and can be extended to 68.1". Can I use this with a manfrotto 410 geared head?

Yes, you can use the Manfrotto 410 geared head with the Feisol CT-3441T traveler tripod. Keep in mind that the lightweight nature of the tripod might make the combination a bit top heavy once your camera and lens are mounted, and so you should exercise a little bit of caution when using it at max height with its center column extended.

Hi Maria, yes you can remove the column but you do need a column to use the tripod. If you prefer to not use the Long Column, you can use an optional Short Column, instead. This way, the CT-3441T is functionally much like a tripod with a flat mounting plate, rather than a column.

What size ballhead fits this best? Either the FEISOL, or honestly I was looking at the Sirui K-X heads if you can help. Being able to invert is reasonably important.

Is the Feisol CT-3441T stable with a heavy load, such as a Nikon D850 and 800 f5.6? I have an aluminum Gitzo that I want to replace for weight reasons and don't want to pay $1k for a Gitzo or RRS.

I agree with the others. I am very happy with this tripod for my 5D and a 70-200 f/2.8. But a big lens like an 800 would be pushing it in my opinion
