FUJIFILM 16240913 reviews

Hand Grip HG-XPro1 for X-Pro1 Cameras is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Facilitates better hand-holding This hand grip adds a new level of comfort and control to the Fujifilm XPro-1 camera body. My hands are not extremely large, but big enough that shooting effectively and efficiently was a bit too cumbersome without this accessory. I recommend it for anyone intending on using the XPro-1 for more than just occassional pics of the family. The only downside, and it really has more to do with the XPro-1 body itself, is that the hand grip must be removed in order to access the battery and/or memory card. Similarly, a tripod mount bracket must be removed from the hand grip, before the grip itself can be removed for the same access.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect size and weight for 23 mm lens I bought this after I bought the 23 mm. The X-Pro1 has always been too small for my hand, but I never bought this accessory until I realized the tripod mount I have interferes with the lens, and the camera rests on the 23 mm lens when put down (because it is so large in diameter). The 23 mm is also a little heavier than the 35 and 14 mm. After buying this, the camera is perfectly weighted, fits in my hand, and rests on the table just fine with the larger 23 mm. The accessibility issues to the battery/memory card compartment don't bother me. I knew what I was getting when I bought it, and it's not such an annoyance for me. Additionally, the grip can be taken off without any tools, and the piece is of high quality. I think it's still a little pricey, but not too bad. It also centers the tripod screw on the lens.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointing This hand grip is well build but too small for large hands. Probably perfect if you have small hands. But I found the small grip part not a noticable improvement. Plus a major design flaw is that it has to be removed to access the battery and media card compartment. So everythime you need to remove, insert or change cards you have to unscrew this grip. Sorry Fuji, love the camera but I am used to the Nikon grips that are larger and do not block access to the battery/media compartment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I love the X Pro1, but the camera felt a bit small in my hands. The grip makes a huge difference for me. Much more stable feeling without adding too much weight. Only issue is well documented: the grip must be removed to change battery of memory card. I've got 32gb on my card, so not much of an issue there, but the battery life such as it is means the grip is coming off at least once if I'm shooting all day. That issue is the only reason it's not a 5-star item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hand -XPro1 for X-Pro1 Cameras Grip HG For all of you who are not quite comfortable with the feel and handling of the Fuji X-Pro1, you might want to give this a try.... The NEW Hand Grip -XPro1 for X-Pro1 Cameras.... Aesthetically, it matches perfectly with the X-Pro1. First of all, the fit and finish are great. The Fuji X-Pro1 hand grip is made from a combination of sturdy metal, plastic and rubber. Once the hand grip is mounted, the Fuji X-Pro1 and the handgrip combo feels like one solid unit. The X-Pro1 hand grip mounts securely to the bottom of the camera with a half turn of a recessed key, similar to the way a baseplate is mounted to a Leica M camera. Overall, The Fuji X-Pro1 hand grip fits nicely, and anyone wanting a little more grip should seriously consider it. I like the fact that the HG-XPro1 hand grip is not oversized, and it really does go well aesthetically with the X-Pro1. The hand grip should also help you if you decide to mount Leica M lenses onto your X-Pro1 because the Leica lenses are so heavy. Buy one .....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have been part of the body Love this grip on the X-pro 1. Makes one-handed operation possible, and positions my thumb much better in either 1 or 2-handed operation for AEL and Q buttons.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makes a Real Difference The HG-XPro1 optional hand grip for the Fujifilm X-Pro1 camera is a welcome addition. It gives just enough added grip to make for a confident, all-day shooting experience. It matches perfectly the retro style of the camera and is of the same high build quality. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Grip A positive addition to the camera that allows for easier handling. A better option would have been to allow access to the batter cover / memory card slot. It does attach and detach fairly quickly though and looks nice on the camera chassis.
