    Sunpak DF3000 reviews

DF3000C Digital Flash for Canon Cameras is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, lightweight flash I've owned this flash for a little over 1 1/2 years and have had no problems. I purchased this flash to use on a Canon SX50 because of its light weight. It performs beautifully and does most things the camera supports. This unit is far from what you get when buy a Canon or Metz flash in the quality of construction, but at a fraction of the price this is to be expected. Exposures are accurate and with only an on/off switch on the back, it's very simple to use. All controls are through the camera. I believe the Bower SFD728 is the same unit and even less expensive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great! If you need a flash for a night or two. I call this one a temporary, disposable flash. I guess if you a few bucks to spare and a quick need for a flash for a couple of nights, this is your best friend......but I was really upset when I grabbed it one day for a quick shoot and it turned on but refused to flash. :-(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't buy as it doesn't fill I bought it to use on my canon sx30is. It doesn't fill the wide angle setting. Very disappointed. I needed a focus assist and it does that but its like using a spot light instead of a flash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little flash This flash does everything it's said to do. I also use it with a soft box for softer affects.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money B&H doesn't carry this yet and I hope they don't. I needed a flash NOW and ran to *and pick this up. It worked for about 20 pictures and then stopped. I used it on a Canon T3i. Save the money and buy something that works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versitility is Always a Get Choice ! There are so many ways this flash can be used... which is what a novice really needs! I've only used it a short time, but I'm really glad I chose the Sunpak DF3000C!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NoI woud not buy this again. This works on my T2I canon but it seems to rock on the shoe and doesn't always make contact. Don't use my camera except for holidays mostly so kept it. The more I use it the more I wish I had sent it back. I have done a lot of business over the years and know I could have sent it back. Should have used it more at first to find out it wasn't something I was doing but I didn't so it is my fault I kept something that doesn't work quite right.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from There are better options I have owned two of these flash units and they both have stopped working as designed and the test buttons do not work any longer either. I was not able to get 50 pictures out of either of them with my T3.
