The 1.2 liter Compard Print WA Black and White Paper Developer from Rollei Is a liquid concentrate, which develops and produces warm tones in black and white photographs. Both fiber-based and resin-coated papers are compatible with the developer, and the developer can be used in trays, drums, and machine processors without replenishment.
To make a working solution, you must mix 1:7 for normal dilution and 1:11 or 1:15 for finer grain development, but developing times become longer. The temperature of the solution should be 86°F to mix correctly with water and allow the temperature to cool down before using it. Unused concentrate should be made into a stock solution of 1:3 to be stored in a glass bottle with a tight cap for up to six months. The manufacture recommends using the freshly made developer within one day of preparation, for best results.
This developer has a rapid response, high-speed yield, and anti-haze properties. A lime scale stabilization, which prevents blurring of the paper even at high-volume developing, has been added to the developer. The Compard Print WA Black and White Paper Developer compliments any of the Adox MCC papers; as a result, getting a rich warm tone to the papers.
