Classic Comfort Red Laser Pointer is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great pointer - Impossible battery changes! I have had the pointer for several years and I love it's durability. That being said it is a little too durable when it comes to replacing the batteries. I took sliding the rubber sleeve off of it, a pliers to remove the black tip end and then two pairs of pliers to remove the cap to get at the batteries. Hopefully the oil I put on the cap will make it easier to take off the next time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Upsetting I bought this product in January of 2013. I have never been able to use the on/off switch. It just never worked so all I can do is screw and un screw to turn it off. If I lived in the States I would have take the time to bring it back and get another brand. FYI the batteries that came with it also exploded inside. Its a good thing that I checked up on this otherwise the whole thing would have ended up in the garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply amazing, quality! My gray, Quartet Comfort Grip™ type (class 2) laser pointer is by far the finest quality pointer that I've ever used; or seen before... I strongly urge anyone seriously considering purchasing a laser pointer to try a, Quartet brand, pointer... In this case, you deffinetly get more than your money's, worth...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great laser pointer I'm not going to kid you and say I bought this for presentations. I didn't. I bought it for my son because it's sturdy, powerful, and will last. It's been dropped, stepped on, chewed by the dog, and washed with laundry. Unlike its predecessors, it's lasted more than two weeks and is still going strong.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't work It broke the first time I pushed the button. I fiddled with batteries and the mechanism for 30 minutes with no avail. Another annoyance was that nowhere on the packaging did it instruct you on how to insert the batteries. I had to google.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Product--Until the Original Batteries Die I liked this laser pointer a lot. I used it for a while to highlight aspects of photographs I judge at meetings. When the beam got weak, I bought replacement batteries. The Chinese batteries it comes with slipped right out and I inserted two Energizer batteries. It was a snug fit, but they went in. Apparently though, I inserted them in the wrong orientation, so the light didn't come on. No problem, I thought. So I unscrewed the end cap to take them out. Well, the original batteries are a little slimmer than American batteries (at least Energizers). I was able to get the topmost battery out, even though it took a good pull. But I was totally unable to get the lower battery out. I struggled and tried everything I could. I never could get it out, even after disassembling the pointer (to the degree that's possible). I ended up throwing the pointer away. Reluctantly, I ordered another one, because the form factor and performance of this laser pointer are very good. I'll just pay REALLY close attention to the orientation of the batteries next time I have to replace them. If you buy this device, you should, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, simple laser Great laser pointer. Simple but feels substantial in the hand. Has a good grip. The laser is pretty strong, but as all others, does not work well with LCD screens.
