8GB CompactFlash Memory Card 500x UDMA is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed. Use these with my Canon 5D Mark iii. Just what I need. An 8g card allows me to capture many images without overloading the card. I use a smaller gigabytes to ensure that I can case of a bad card I don't lose as many images. Just my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Card Especially for the Price Very reliable card with fast Read & Write speeds. This card allows us to shoot for hours and download NEFs in minutes. Even after the occasional run through the washing machine, the images have been safe & the cards still work flawlessly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WORTH IT! i was extremely concerned about the quality of this card because i have purchase other cards in this price range and been extremely disappointed. I have used this card to shoot video as well as raw images in quick succession and have not had any problems or lag. I will buy another. the only downfall is it is a bit smaller than i expected just like any other card you dont get the full 8gb out of an 8gb card but to me this card is still worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but formats under 8gb Delkin is lesser known, but the cards tend to be decent. I have an old Delkin 128mb CF card I picked up years ago that is still working fine. My experience with Delkin is the cards are reasonably reliable and decent value for the price. This 8gb card fits that description well. The card writes reasonably quickly on my 5D mk II and I have had no issues with general shooting or recording short video clips. I have not tested the card under heavy motor drive use for sports and such, but for general use (and working in a studio) it was more than fast enough to get the job done. It also worked fine with my old Eos 1Ds. For the price, it delivers good performance. However, it formats below the stated 8gb capacity - actual available size once formatted is approx 6.75gb. No card ever formats exactly to the stated space due to how formatting and file allocation tables work, but losing over 1gb off the rated capacity seems way off the mark. That said, it holds over 200 raw + large fine jpg images from my 5D mkII, so the capacity is still workable. I own 2 of these cards, and am satisfied with what they give you for the price. As long as they stay significantly cheaper than the Lexar 600-1000x cards (and other good high speed cards), the value is good. Ideal use is as a backup memory card (where the price/performance is very good, and the smaller capacity shouldn't cause problems). It can work as a main card for low volume shooters or people who don't always shoot in raw, and it will also function well as a main memory card on older cameras such as the original 5D or 1Ds, where the max card size for the camera is 8gb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Card I use the card with Canon DSLR bodies, typically shooting the medium sized RAW file option (about 10MP) each. The card easily keeps up with my shooting style which often involves rapid bursts. I was actually surprised it performs as well as it does, given the very reasonable price. I've had good luck with Delkin products in the past and this card is no exception.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only brand I use I love the Delkin CF memory cards--it's the only brand I will use. I have a 32 gb that I purchased in 2011, and have used it exclusively-- never needing to switch to a new card. I have purchased the 8gb, for a project I'm working on--just to keep it separate. I've never had a failure with Delkin CF cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly Good for the price! I use it in my 5D Mk II and the write speed is more than adequate. Have not used it yet for weddings or events, but I will try it on my next job. I don't expect that it will fail me! I purchased this item just to see how good it would be considering the rather low price and I am not disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, affordable card I use this card in a very demading environment both dealing with the elements, as well as non-stop shooting, it has yet to give me problems. One of those things that when in use, it just works. I don't worry about loosing information, my files are always there. Great value for this product.
