Great product and quality

No doubt that it is a quality product and work as intended and I've also realise that there is a protective film between the mount itself and the camera mount which prevent the screw from scratching the camera mount so that's great and highly recommend it!

Sort of compatible with my cam

The hot shoe mount on my camera is slightly loose so my zoom h5 wiggles around causing a lot of unwanted noise. I suppose this is more of a problem with my camera than the adapter but it is definitely something that could have been addressed in the design of the adapter as im sure many people have a slightly loose hot shoe mount if they use heavy equipment with it.

Are the 2 secure locking wheels made of plastic?
Asked by: Andy W.
They are plastic surrounding the metal male and female threaded parts. I haven't had any issues with them. I have two of them and I use my LED lights with them.

And what is the actual weight of this item? (excluding all the packaging)

The item is very light. Probably weigh ounces. I use this hot shoe to connect my H5 Zoom Digital Recorder to my recording rig. It is amazingly strong. Sorry about the slow response.
