The 8x42 Razor HD Binoculars from Vortex are smaller, lighter, brighter, and stronger than ever before. They are a versatile optic that is ideal for multiple applications from close to long-distance observation. Their lightweight construction and high optical performance make them an extremely desirable viewing instrument.

The binoculars render views in high contrast with accurate color through the use of high-density (HD) extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, an apochromatic lens configuration, XR Plus lens coatings, and dielectric and phase-correcting prism coatings, which raise the level of optical excellence for these roof prism binoculars. The benefits include excellence in color sharpness, coating durability, overall performance, increased resolution, color fidelity, clarity, brightness, and greater light transmission. Additional lens protection from scratches, oil, and dust is provided by the ArmorTek exterior lens coating.

The Razor HD is argon filled and sealed with O-rings to ensure reliable and durable protection against dust, debris, fog, and water. The binoculars are rubber armored for non-slip and durable protection, and is equipped with a large focusing knob that is easy to use even while wearing gloves. Naturally contoured to perfectly fit your hands, promoting comfort and eliminating user fatigue, with the Razor HD Vortex has once again created a winning combination of features.

Took these binos on a Caribou hunt and they were amazing. I took turns between a lesser brand and these and the difference was spectacular. Very little eye fatigue felt after hours of glassing. Especially when it's cold and windy and your eyes are already tough to keep open.

The clarity is hard to beat and the edging ability is second to none. Catching movement out of the corner of the lease is no longer an issue.

I’m using these for birding and I love them. Hardly any eye fatigue, the colors are accurate and the focus is SHARP. Would absolutely buy them again and am telling my birding friends!

I will be honest and give credit where it is due, I upgraded from Diamondback 12x50 HD's and wow!! I am Glad I did Buy once cry once type of WOW!. the glass is impressive and the eye relief is alot better allowing me to glass longer and even though they are 10x50's I can actually spot better with the clarity vs the DB-12x50's. which would strain my eyes and so forth. If your looking to upgrade. these would be a good choice. but always try to try them out from a friend or dealer OUTSIDE to make sure they work for you!! OVERALL not regretting these Razors!!

These binos are by far the best I have had. I solely use these when hunting and they are great at both short range and long range. They are great to glass off of with a tripod and really comfortable in your hands. They are built well and the warranty Vortex provides is exceptional. I suspect I will be using the binos indefinitely. Don't quite know what else I would need that these don't have.

This is my first pair of binos I've ever personally purchased (I used to always use whatever spares I could get my hands on). I've owned countless Vortex products, so I assumed they'd be awesome either way. I've gotta say, I've used the cheaper models of Vortexs' Binoculars, and I've used more expensive models from other big name companies. I honestly think I prefer the size to quality of these ones over any of the other kinds I've borrowed from friends throughout the year.

Great update over an old pair of Nikons. Use them for northern MN deer hunting and having a pair in the pickup for coyote hunting. Can't wait to use them this spring for turkey. Comes with a great case. These are a great for anyone. Buy once, cry once.
