FAR-Sight Binocular Mount is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid American made stuff Solid build, great American made product with an innovative design which uses a mounting screw that attaches to your binocular. The screw acts like a quick attachment device that allows you to mount your binoculars to the Far-Sight Bracket. It is small and won't ruin the look or function of your binoculars. You can get a mounting screw for each pair. The only reason why I did not rate it five stars is that it is very hard to slide the binocular with mounting screw into the bracket keyway. The keyway has an interference fit, so you really have to push it down hard. I ended up removing some of the material on the bracket to get the proper fit that was solid yet easy enough to remove the binocular. The only problem for my effort was that only one screw fit well. The other screws that I bought did not fit either. Fortunately you can adjust the screws so that they can fit well. The mounting screw is a knurled nut with a spacer and some washers and a screw that runs through it which the protruding end screws into your binoculars. By partially unscrewing the screw from the nut you can adjust the tension of the fit in the keyway. Once I did that everything worked well and I am a happy camper. If you want a solid mounting bracket for your big astro binoculars this would be the one to get.
