MOBOTIX M12 overview

  • 1Description

The Mobotix M12D-SEC Dual Lens 3 MP Camera (43mm & 135mm Night Lenses) comes with 2 integrated image sensors. This camera offers up to 8x zoom that brings distant objects up to 8 times closer without compromising on image clarity, while creating minimal network load (MPEG: approximately 1 Mbps, CIF 25 fps) and supports a video resolution of up to 2048 x 1536 pixels (color sensor). Besides bi-directional audio and video motion detection, this camera incorporates a passive IR sensor. The Ethernet, ISDN and RS232 interfaces of the camera comply with current IT standards, including GSM/GPRS/UMTS (3G).

Digital zoom, panning, video motion detection, event-controlled frame rates, and freely selectable image sections reduce the storage requirements of the M12 to minimum. The integrated camera software features include alarm management with pre- and post-alarm images, FTP, email, external ring buffer storage on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X computers as well as playback and MultiView functions for up to 40 cameras on the browser. Since the camera does not require additional heating, it can be easily powered via the network connection.
