question

Hello,What are the dangers when using these bulbs on a dimmable floor lamp? I'm not trying to use them at a dimmed power level, upon turing on the lamp I would ramp the dimmer switch to full. In that short moment when the bulbs are slightly dimmed, could I experience some issues? Also, are there any issues when using these bulbs on an E27 screw base?
Asked by: Noe C.
When using a bulb such as this, which self-ballasted with a dimmable fixture, the bulb may fail when dimmed to a lower setting before be set to full power.

question

What is the lifespan on these bulbs?
Asked by: Zoe H.
Thank you for the question regarding our 26W compact fluorescent lamps. The ballast electronics and CFL envelope last an estimated 1,500 hours when operated in normal commercial lighting fixtures; the period of full operation can diminish to 500 hours (on average) for professional production lighting, such as when operated in fixtures designed for set lighting in studios and on location. Hours of life vary as well when used as part of professional lighting equipment hired out by production rental operations.
