The Planon ScanStik SK600 MultiPage Full Page Scanner lets you scan anywhere, without a computer or even a power outlet. The pen-sized scanner is compact enough to fit in your pocket so you can go anywhere and scan reference books, receipts, handwritten notes, and any other flat surface. Scanning a page takes only 4 seconds and once the scan is completed, the image is stored as a JPEG image on a microSD card. Once you get back to your computer, simply connect the scanner to your computer using the provided USB cable (Windows 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS X supported).
The scanner is ideal for keeping track of receipts and other business documents on the go and saves money at the library by eliminating the need for photocopying. The ScanStik includes ABBYY OCR software to convert scanned documents into editable text. Also included is PaperPort for managing your scanned images once they're on your computer.
