The main flap is secured with hook and loop panels and all the zippers are durable YKK design.Think Tank's unique "Sound Silencers" - panels located under the main flap can be deployed to eliminate the "ripping" sound of the touch fasteners when you need to access the interior. This will come in handy when shooting in quiet venues such as court rooms, golf matches or public relations events.
For business cards, there's a clear interior pocket for extra cards or your ID. An interior zippered organizer pocket can hold your filters, cleaning cloths and other small accessories. Pens, maps and even more stuff can be kept within a second interior storage pocket.
Carrying the Retrospective 7 is easy with its adjustable canvas strap or removable top carry handle. Would this bag fold a Canon 7d, with the 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 and the 18-55 EFS, with room for another small lens or extender?
Yes, but you'll have to pack carefully. The camera body will have to go in vertically without lens attached to maximize available room and the smaller lenses may need to go into the same compartment, one above the other, so having at least one of them in a protective neoprene pouch would be recommended.

If the camera is placed with the camera lens attached and facing down toward the bottom of the bag, then yes, the Think Tank Photo Retrospective 7 Shoulder Bag (Pinestone), B&H # THRS7PS, would be able to fit the Sony Alpha a7 III Mirrorless Digital Camera and the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD Lens attached to the camera.

will it fit a full frame with 24-120 f/4 and a 70-200 f/2.8 lens with sb900 flash?
I will answer my own question: I did purchase this bag. I can squeeze my Nikon D750 with attached 24-120 f/4 (without grip), SB900 flash and the 28-200 f2.8 lens. It is VERY tight and not exactly comfortable to use as a working bag.. ok for travel. It is NOT deep enough to hold the D750 with the 28-200 f2.8 attached. This is disappointing. Now, with that said: For travel it's ok. For actively working, the camera is usually around my neck and not in the bag anyway. It is very comfortable and a pleasure to work out of in general. It would be great if the 2.8 could be attached but then the bag would be larger, thus the trade off. For me, it's a solid purchase and a keeper.

What is the tangible difference between the Retrospective 7 and Retrospective 10. Only just 0.5 inches wider and one less inch deeper?
The Retrospective 7 and 10 models are similar in size and style, but there are some differences in the configuration that relates to the gear you can pack inside. The 7 has a front pocket (under the flap) that holds a 10 tablet or 11 Macbook Air. The 10 has does not have space for a tablet or laptop. Instead, the 10 has two individual pockets that are each large enough to hold a flash, lenses, or a small DSLR body.

would a 6d with battery grip fit here? i only have 2 lenses, a 24-70 and 70-200.
The only way i can fit my canon6d with 70-200 lens mounted is to have nothing else int he bag, the 70-200mm Sigma fits at one end standing upright. I'm not sure about the grip battery, the bag is flexible but it will be tight. I use this bag when I travel or round the city.
