Rated 2 out of 5 by from D5 owners beware I sold my D4s with this same L-Bracket still attached to it, thinking the D5 might need a re-design. Once I got the D5, and realised that Kirk were not producing a D5 specific bracket, instead choosing to keep selling the D4/4s model I sadly had to buy it again. Fit: Whilst the D4/4s bracket will fit on the base of the D5 body, the left side cut-out section which sits over the connectivity ports on the body is simply too small to allow reasonable access to the ports. It was tight on the D4s, but now even more difficult on the D5 to open all of the port covers, particularly the most commonly used USB 3.0 port. I know Really Right Stuff re-designed a specific plate for the D5, and Kirk should do the same instead of selling the older D4/4s plate as a specific D5 fitment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like all Krik products it just works. Not much to say other than if you want rock solid, reliable, works as advertised then Kirk is the way to go. Yes there are cheaper brands but as most things you get what you pay for. As a long time working professional photog I have come to rely on Kirk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well done This bracket is being attached to a Nikon D4. It fits well onto this camera body and ReallyRightStuff clamps/accessories, is sturdy and has been machined nicely. I would rate it 5 stars, if I had not seen and used ReallyRightStuff equipment which is in a higher league.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mount for Arca-Swiss Type Release I have this on my D3s as well. It provides a great add-on for attaching you camera body to a Arca-Swiss type quick release on your ball head. It has both landscape and portrait mounting positions. This is just what is needed for stabilizing camera body and short focal length lens on a tri or mono pod. The only down side is that it adds bulk and weight to an already big and heavy camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from L-Bracket Makes Verticals Easy L-Bracket's price is a little high, but it will last for almost forever. When you shoot verticals this L-Bracket will keep the center of the camera-lens mass centered over the middle of the tripod legs. This gives you more stability and control, sharper images and provides easier compostions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Absolute Must Not only does it speed up and simplify landscape photography by allowing quick changes to shooting vertical images, without the need to flop over the ballhead, but it also adds protection to the bottom and side of the very expensive camera body, in my case my Nikon D4s.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kirk L bracket for Nikon D4 The Kirk L bracket for the Nikon D4 fits perfectly. You have access to all interfaces and controls. You can opt to have it close to the body, or a little ways off the side depending on how you like to deal with interface cables.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for the pods! This is a must for me to have with my D4s. This is versitle and adjustable to allow for the cables to be hooked up while attached to the monopod or tripod. I have been using L-brackets on all of my cameras to be able to use either my monopod or tripod. I also use the l-bracket to attach a op-tech connector for when I carry my camera around as a extra precaution to accidental bumping. These brackets are sturdy and made to last and doesn't hinder the capabilities of the camera.
