This 50° Chimera Lighttools Fabric Egg Crate for 24" Octa 2 Beauty Dish is a perfect way to direct and control the light output of your Octa 2 Beauty Dish Lightbank.

Chimera's Soft Fabric Egg Crate Grids have revolutionized your light control options for location film and video crews and photographers. Collapsible, portable, and extremely lightweight, fabric grids have no supporting frame of their own. These grids hook and loop to all eight sides of the Chimera Lightbank's front recess area to provide a controlled beam spread.

Once the job is complete, just detach, give an energetic diagonal snap to align the grid's joints, and fold it down to near pocket-size - ideal for travel and location work.

Unfortunately, Chimera does not list the dimensions of the Chimera Fabric Grid for Large Strip - 40 Degrees, B&H # CHGF40LS, on their website, nor is it listed under the Specifications tab on our website. However, as the three softboxes for which they are designed for usage all measure 21 x 84 in size (the Chimera Super Pro X Plus Stripbank (Large 21 x 84 ), the Chimera Barger 6-Light Strip Bank Plus, B&H # CHBB6, and the Chimera Large Video Pro Plus Strip Softbox, Silver (21 x 84 ), B&H # CHVPPSBL), I woud estimate the size of the fabric grid when opened is approximately 21 x 84 x 2 in size.

The grid is a universal 1x1 fabric grid and can be used in many softboxes. If the softbox you have is 1x1 then there is a good chance this will fit as long as the softbox can take a grid.
