The Eartec 2-User SC-1000 Two-Way Radio System with Ultra Double Inline PTT Headsets is a complete system that consists of 2 of the company's Scrambler SC-1000 UHF radio transceivers, each with its own Ultra Double Inline headset.

The SC-1000 system allows for crystal clear voice communication to production teams on the move. This wireless transmitter operates in the simplex mode, which means that when one person in a group transmits, the message is received by everyone. An unlimited number of transceivers can operate at the same frequency and the system can also be utilized as a dual-channel intercom with switching.

This transceiver features a full watt of transmission power at a distance of up to 1 mile (1.61 km). It utilizes UHF high-band frequencies that can penetrate concrete or steel surfaces. This makes SC-1000 a cost-effective sound solution for schools, churches, community theaters, or any on-location venue where users need to communicate between buildings or through walls. This unit operates with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery (included). It also comes with a military belt clip for convenient carrying.

The Ultra Double Inline Headset with Push-to-Talk activation is a versatile headset accessory for two-way radio use. This headset allows users to wear their radios clipped to their belts and communicate through the headset. The comfortable full-ear-cup features a unique heptagonal design that covers the ear naturally and completely. Deluxe ear cushions are not only wide and soft but are also slightly thicker at the bottom and rear. Together, these ergo-formed shapers are the reasons that make this headset comfortable to wear. It also includes an inline Push-to-Talk button that is worn on the belt or clipped to users' clothing. This assembly acts as an intermediary between the headset and the receiver.

question

Do these include rechargeable batteries and charging stations? If not, what kind of batteries do they take?
Asked by: Lance Y.
Yes, they come with one rechargeable battery for each radio, which can easily last a whole day with moderate use. You can purchase a spare battery if you're worried about them dying. Just look at the accessories list and you can get a battery only or a battery with a belt clip for a little more. They do come with three charging stations and a nice carrying case.If you do order extra batteries, make sure they send the correct ones. I was accidentally sent a similar battery that fit on the radio, but wasn't the correct voltage and it fried it. Had to send it back for a replacement.
