Dedolight DLED4.1 Daylight Overview

Having paved the way with the on-camera Ledzilla LED and the 1 x 1' stand-mounted Felloni Dedolight continues to forge ahead with the introduction of the Mobile DLED4.1-D LED Light Head (Daylight). Again using aspheric lens elements results in an amazing 1:20 flood to spot ratio with a beam angle of 60-4 degrees that delivers 27,000 lux in spot mode at 3.0' with no UV radiation emitted. A wide angle attachment increases coverage 85-54 degrees.

The 5600K daylight balance blends in seamlessly in outdoor situations and is ideal for location and ENG work, and as is characteristic of LED sources, generates negligible heat. The DLED4.1-D is powered by the 100 to 260 VAC DT4.0-1 or DT4.0-1-DMX which offers remote control of the light's 100-20% dimmable light intensity. A DC power supply is also available for battery power sources up 18V. A full line of accessories from scrims and filters to Dedolight Imager projection attachments is available.

Do you really mean that this daylight version is 27,000 Lux @ 3.0' - Spotcompared to the bi-color version; B&H 7,050 Lux @ 3.0' / 5,600K - Spot ?

The lux information is in error on the site.This model, Dedolight Mobile DLED4.1-D LED Light Head (Daylight) without Power Supply B&H # DEDLED4D MFR # DLED4-D rating is, 36000 Lux in spot at 3 feet.And this Dedolight Mobile DLED4.1-BI LED Light Head B&H # DEDLED4BI MFR # DLED4-BI is rated at day light spot 10100 Lux.You can see all of the lux information for both modes at this link http://bit.ly/2gPAMRv.

Does the light work with vlock battery, and is there a specific adapter?

This light can work with the Dedolight V-Lock Battery Holder with Loop and Belt Clip B&H # DEDLBCAV and the Dedolight 31.5 Power Input Cable with D-Tap Connector B&H # DEDLDIMBATAB in order to use a V-mount battery.

Can I use the Dedolight DT12-4 power supply with this instrument?

Unfortunately, the Dedolight DT12-4 is for the original tungsten balanced DLH4300 heads. The appropriate power supply for the Mobile DLED4.1-D LED head is the Dedolight DT4 Power Supply, B&H # DEACPSDLED4.

does this come in a tungsten version also?

According to the Dedolight website it does come in a Tungsten version. I don't see it on the B&H website.I bought the Daylight version from B&H in June because it has more output than the Bicolor - which I needed more than variable Kelvin. I like the light a lot! Mike M.
