This kit is a cost-effective solution that fulfills the needs of high-risk security environments. It includes the ICD-505 Super Cube DSP Color Camera, a varifocal lens, and a 15" outdoor housing, which includes a heater and blower for operation in extreme temperatures.
The ICD-505 Super Cube DSP Color Camera has a low-profile design (2.08" in depth) that makes it ideal for installation in tight spaces. The camera features digital signal processing (DSP) technology and is equipped with a 1/3" Interline Transfer CCD image sensor that records high-quality images at 520 TVL.
Designed for Day/Night functionality, the camera switches between color and B&W as per changes in the ambient lighting, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. In addition, the camera’s Backlight Compensation feature automatically compensates for exposure levels in dark light conditions, thereby improving image visibility to ensure that you get clear images even in challenging lighting environments.
Featuring a focal length range of 2.8 to 12mm, the varifocal lens supports 94.31° wide angle of view to cover a wider surveillance area. The iris range of f/1.4-300 offers detailed imagery at low light intensity as well as under extreme bright light.
Made of aluminum, the 15" housing protects the camera when installed in an indoor/outdoor location. It also includes a built-in heater and blower system that regulate the internal temperature of the unit, thereby ensuring uninterrupted surveillance in extreme weather conditions.
