Overview

SuperTap TDM from Waves is a delay plug-in inspired by the sound and legacy of analog tape. Featuring extensive modulation, panning, and filter options, the software delivers analog style with digital precision. Ease of use is further enhanced by the sync to host tempo functionality, or by using the Tap-Pad feature to tap a tempo in.

Tap-Pad for tempo tapping or pattern switching
Global LFO modulation and two feedback modes
Spatial positioning vector display
Up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution
Mono, mono to stereo, and stereo components

Controls

Tempo
  • BPM: 40 BPM to 1200 BPM
  • mS: 50 mS to 1,500 mS
  • Tap Pad: manual tap input
  • Tap Pad Mode: tempo or pattern
  • Sync: auto or manual

Modulation
  • On/Off: switch
  • Sync: manual or tempo
  • Rate: 0 Hz to 20 Hz
  • Depth: 0 mS to 10 mS

EQ
  • On/Off: switch per taps and feedback
  • Tap Filter Type: bell 1, bell 2, high shelf, low shelf, high pass and low pass
  • Feedback Filter Type: low pass, low shelf and low decay
  • Frequency: 0.1 kHz to 20 kHz per taps and feedback
  • Gain: -12 dB to +12 dB for taps; -12 dB to 0 dB for feedback

On/Off: switch for direct signal, taps and feedback
Direct Signal Gain: -42 dB to 0 dB
Tap Gain: -48 dB to 0 dB
Feedback Amount: 0% to 100%
Rotate: -45° to +45° of direct signal, taps and feedback
Taps and Feedback Delay Sliders: 0 ms to 5,944 mS or by tempo grid
Feedback Mode: normal or tap
Snap: on/off snap to grid
Grid Resolution: free, quarters, quarter triplets, eighths, eighth triplets and sixteenths
Grid Mode: BPM or mS
Output Gain Fader: -12 dB to +12 dB
Output Meter: -30 dB to 0 dB with peak hold and clip indicators
