Provide protection to your gear with the RainCoat Small Sleeve (Forest Green Camo) from LensCoat. This product affords easy access to your gear while deflecting water, snow, salt spray, dust, sand, and dirt. The rear part opens for simple use of camera controls, while the bottom features a hook-and-loop closure that allows for the use of manual focus and tripods. Due to its simple and efficient design, the cover does not require a dedicated eyepiece for camera operation.

A waterproof and breathable poly tricot material makes this cover durable and lightweight. Designed for use with body and lens combinations of up to 10" in length, the cover can be adjusted for a tight fit through the use of an elastic cord around the hood section. This classic forest green camouflage pattern is well-suited for general use in wooded areas. This product is made in the USA and comes with a mesh storage pouch that can be used for transportation.

    LensCoat RS Reviews

RainCoat Small Sleeve (Forest Green Camo) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Option I have yet to find a perfect solution for the times I am forced to shoot in wet conditions, so far this is the best option I have found. With the LensCoat Rain Sleeve I am still able to access the controls and viewfinder easily. It works best for me when cinched onto a lens hood (rather than the lens barrel) leaving the bottom open for my tripod. The rain sleeve drapes back over the camera leaving the back of the camera somewhat exposed. I have not found this to be a problem in the real world. The light weight and flexibility of the fabric allows it to mold to the equipment enough that zooming in or out does not create problems with the cover.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Overpriced Hi I purchased the big one and bandy quickly swapped it for the smaller one. The moment it came it started to rain so I had a good chance to test it in the rain. First of it works. No problems there. However the zipper broke in the first try. It doesn't come with a manual and best practices. Sure why would you need one right? well if you plan to use it with a 50mm, 85mm or the likes it won't work with a small as it is clumsy to get it fixed and too big. Even if you fix it the zipper gets in the way and the worst part is once the zipper brakes(and i was very gentle) there is no way about it. Therefore other then shielding it from the rain(which you could do with a bag), I don't know what I paid this much for a low a quality product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really Well Made This fit perfectly with my Canon 5D and lenses: Fisheye, 16-35, 17-40, 24-70, 24-105 and Rokinon 14 & 20 primes. The material is quality. Keeps the water off and will last a long time. Over time the bungee cinch straps may break but with the material quality I'm sure I can rig a cheap solution. I had no issues tightening them to the lens. And instead of tightening it at the back I just let it hang so the water dripped off and I could still access quickly if I wanted. So not sure it's necessary to tighten up all the way. As for price, well worth it when protecting gear that's worth as much as it is. Sure you could use a bag or cheaper plastic option but neither are as nice to work with. This should be the standard and you pay for what you get. I'm sure more expensive ones have some nice options but for a bargain this is the rain coat to get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from serves its purpose ! Its Gore Tex, so I washed it, (No fabric softeners on Gore-tex) and it became less stiff fabric. I then placed rubber bands on lens hood so draw string does not slip forward or reverse. Now it works well and serves its purpose admirably!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does a great job keeping the camera dry. I bought the RainCoat due to the fact that I do quite a bit of outdoor location shooting, and I needed something to protect my camera in rainy and misty conditions. It does an excellent job of keeping the camera dry, it's compact & easy to store, and it's easy to put it on in the field. Since the RainCoat is opaque and covers the entire camera, I was worried that it would impare my ability to use the camera's controls, but after a couple minutes of use, I found that I could do everything I needed to without any problems, even with the drawstrings pulled tight and the hook & loop seam sealed. I could easily adjust aperture, exposure time, and focus, and I had no problem at all with the shutter button. I must note a few things, however: 1.) I use an Op/Tech USA Utility Sling strap, which connects on only one side of the camera. This single connection allows me to put the strap connector through the hook & loop opening in the RainCoat. If I used a strap that connected on both sides of the camera (as most straps do), I'm not sure that the RainCoat would be nearly as functional as I wouldn't be able to use my strap and the RainCoat at the same time. 2.) I use a Canon 5D mkii, and I keep an EP-EX15 eyepiece extender in my bag at all times (something I did before purchasing the RainCoat). Since the RainCoat has a drawstring closure which seals around the eyepiece of the camera, I found that it's very nearly essential to attatch the EP-EX15 inorder to allow the RainCoat to close properly. 3.) I rarely use the LCD panel on the camera in the field. If I did, I might rate this product slightly lower because it would have to be unsealed on one end in order to allow visual access to the LCD. All in all, I consider the RainCoat an essential part of my kit, and I wouldn't consider going out into the field without it. As an added bonus, it also seems to remain relatively dust and oil free (even after hours of use in the field), so I use it to gently brush away dust from my lenses when swapping or storing them. I wouldn't clean lenses with it, but it does a great job of lightly brushing away dust without leaving oils behind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT FOR CAMERA WITH 70-200MM F2.8 LENS I live right on the ocean on the Central Coast Oregon where it rains almost every day of the year and there are giant waves and tons of saltwater spray. (Of course that's where the great seascape photos are!) This Lens Coat Rain Coat Pro covers my Nikon D4 and the Nikkor 70-200mm, f2.8 lens with room to spare. I can get both hands into the rain coat and operate all the controls on both the camera and the lens. It's well constructed and keeps the rain and salt water off my equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality purchase indeed. Works as advertised. Probably wouldn't use it in a monsoon but have used it in the rain and it protected my gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rain Cover Over the years Ive trusted LensCoat for lens covers so when it came to prepare for a trip to Seattle and I needed a rain cover for my ff and aps mirrorless camera and lenses my first choice was LensCoat from B&H. For convenience I only took my aps camera and small lenses and the sleeve worked great.  It was easy to use and protected my gear, just as expected.  Before the trip I tested it with my ff gear and it worked well on those too so Im very pleased.  I dont use long lenses often and that is why I went with the small vs other sizes.
