The DCB-309 SLR Camera Backpack from Case Logic may appear compact on the outside but it sure holds its weight in gear. Stash your two DSLR bodies inside (one with up to an 70-200mm f/2.8 attached). And, there's room left over for two smaller lenses and a flash. Every photographer needs a laptop and this backpack will hold your 15" MacBook Pro or a 14" PC in a separate, padded zippered compartment. Not enough? Take along your tripod stored neatly within the side zippered pocket. Secure it with the included buckle and you're ready to head out for a day's shoot. Inside the bag, a padded divider system allows you to arrange the interior to accommodate whatever gear you need.

For the small stuff, inside the front lid you'll find two zippered accessory pockets for cables, filters, cleaning cloths or any other small item you might need. The front contains a small, zippered compartment for really quick access items such as your snacks, ID, cash or keys. No need to delve inside the depths of the bag to grab them. For those long days in the field, there's a mesh water bottle pocket on the side. Located on the lower back of the pack is a zippered pocket for safely storing valuables such as your wallet and passport.

The nylon exterior is enhanced by a padded front panel bolstered to protect your gear from incidental impact. The included weather hood serves to protect your pack from the elements when you're caught in marginal weather. When you don't need the rain cover, just roll it up and fold it into its own stuff sack.

The backpack straps are adjustable and supported by a sternum strap for added stability while walking. A top carry handle is for quickly retrieving the pack from the trunk of your car or out of a closet. This very practical pack is backed by Case Logic's 25-year warranty.

DCB-309 SLR Camera Backpack (Black) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 203.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dividers need to be improved I?ve had this bag for about 2 years. It?s not my main backpack. I use this more for leisure than business but it gets a lot of use. Things I love, the laptop pocket in the back of the bag (closest to your back), the pocket on up against your back, I use it for my wallet, money, and passport, when I travel. Built seems decent. What I don?t like at all is the dividers. They?re rather flimsy. I organize everything and once I put the bag on, everything seems to fall out of place. The Velcro isn?t secure enough to hold onto the sides. Not a good thing when you like for your equipment to stay in mint condition as long as possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pack if you are a traveler I purchased this camera backpack because I travel quite a bit and carry photo gear when I do. Over the last year or two I have migrated to the 4/3 system from the more traditional DSLR cameras and gear. This was done principally to reduce size and weight. This camera backpack follows in this direction exceptionally well. It is compact, relatively light yet provides me with space for two camera bodies, three lens, and associate gear. It's also ideal as a carry-on bag. I have done one trip with it so far and am pleased with the purchase. I have a long-distance trip coming up and see no reason why it will not continue to serve my purposes well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Backpack I use this backpack to store my gear, and it is ready whenever I want to go out to take some pictures. It is more comfortable then most of the price range. It is good for keeping a ready to shoot DSLR even with a 70-300mm lens in the top of the bag. The spacers are sturdy and variable and you can add more durability with some extra fastening tape stripes. The bag does not seems to be a photo-backpack which is also a plus, if you do not want to advertise what you have inside. I mention one negative, you have quite little room for your own stuff. You can carry some water on the side, and there is place in the rear, all together not too much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great pack but with reservations I got this pack and was very happy with all the features, handy organizers, and obviously loved the price. But here is the catch, if you try to carry a lens with an attached tripod mount bracket (in my case a nikon 70-200 @2.8) the main compartment is to shallow and therefore stresses the zipper to close it no matter where u try to position the lens. Sure enough after one round trip of carrying on the plane the zipper stated to pull lose from the fabric at that stress point and I had to return it. Good thing my trip was only days after purchase so B&H took it back no problem. So as long as you don't have any lenses with attached mounting brackets then get this and you will love it. But for true pro gear, go bigger and spend more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use it to avoid gate checking. Here is what I can get in the bag: Mac 17 MacBook Pro. (Even though the specs say you cannot.) Nikon D7100 with Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens attached. Nikon D800 with Zeiss 21mm f/2.8 attached. Zeiss 35mm f/2.0. Nikon 50mm f/1.8. Nikon Micro 60mm f/2.8. Charger, spare batteries, lens cleaning kit. Nikon SB400 flash. It's a tight fit. The padding is not thick enough to entrust the bag to others but the exterior dimensions are small enough that it will fit under the seat in front of you so entrusting the bag to others should never happen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DCB-309 Not quite as big as I wanted. I use this bag to try and carry my 2 canon 7d's (w/ 24mm 1.4L and the 85mm 1.2L attached). I'm not one for attaching and detaching lenses. So therefore I always travel with them attached. The DCB-309 snugly fits 2 canon 7d's with lenses attached. It works, but I would prefer a little more room. The snug fit puts stress on the zipper which possibly over time could weaken. The only other finding that I have is that the zipper pull strings on the main compartment fell off a long time ago. Other than that the bag will comfortably hold one camera and attached lens along with a couple of accessories like flash and extra batteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Backpack I bought this backpack with the future in mind, at this time I only have 1 camera but it will hold 2 of them and I plan on getting another one in the future. The backpack has alot of room it holds my Nikon D60 well. The inside's can be adjusted to hold the camera without itmoving around and holds the few accessories that I have for it as well as my notebook computer and its charger. The one thing I wish it had was a place to attach pouches on the outside of the backpack. I bought this backpack because it has the mesh pouch on it to put a waterbottle in. The backpack seems to very well put together and thought out in design.
