The 130mm StarNavigator Telescope from Meade is a reflecting telescope with motorized altazimuth mount that is ideal for amateur astronomers and hobbyists beginning their stargazing adventure. Included AutoStar software and two Meade 1.25" eyepieces provide star navigators with the tools needed to make a wide range of celestial observations right out of the box. A step-by-step instruction manual and instructional DVD helps novices setup their telescope in minutes, leaving more time for observation.

This configuration of the StarNavigator series features a compact reflector optical design and a 130mm wide aperture that transmits clear bright images. Two included eyepieces, 25mm and 9mm, provide operators with tools for achieving different views of their favorite planets, star clusters, galaxies, and moons. Use the 25mm eyepiece for a smaller image with enhanced detail, or the 9mm eyepiece for a closer look with reduced resolution.

Meade's AudioStar hand controller is pre-loaded with 30,000 objects that this fully computer guided telescope mount will automatically "Go To" at the push of a button. Additionally, the hand controller includes over 500 audio presentation files on various astronomical subjects. The StarNavigator telescope with AudioStar is a suitable tool for parents, teachers, and astronomy clubs.

Optical Tube Assembly
The reflector design enables a long focal length in a relatively compact optical tube housing, and a 130mm aperture transmits clear bright images. Two included eyepieces, 25mm and 9mm, provide operators with tools for achieving different views of their favorite planets, star clusters, galaxies, and moons. The generous light gathering ability of this scope combined with the user-friendly alignment ability makes this all the telescope the observer will ever require.
Motorized Alt-Az Mount
This fully automated altazimuth mount features GoTo capability, making setup and alignment as simple as pushing a button on the included handbox. The mount and aluminum tripod make for a durable and portable stargazing system ready to provide amateur astronomers with years of use. The mount is conveniently powered by (8) AA batteries located in the removable internal battery pack.
AudioStar Hand Controller
AudioStar handbox controller includes 30,000 pre-loaded celestial objects and over 500 audio files; including planets, star clusters, galaxies, and moons.
