The LEE Filters 100 x 100mm #16 Yellow Orange Filter is a basic contrast filter, primarily for use with black and white film, that strongly darkens skies, reduces blues, and increases overall contrast. It provides a more noticeable increase in contrast compared to the #15 deep yellow filter, and also absorbs a small amount of green for darkening foliage. There is an approximate 1.5x filter factor with this filter, requiring an increase of 0.6 stop for normal exposure.

This filter is constructed from optically correct resin, measures 3.9 x 3.9" / 100 x 100mm, and is compatible with the LEE 100mm filter holder.

Yellow orange contrast filter for black and white film noticeable darkens skies and blue tones, cuts through haze, and increases overall contrast.
Provides a stronger effect than a #15 deep yellow filter and also absorbs some green.
Constructed from optical resin for maintained image quality and clarity.
