This Ec series New Laser Matte Ec-R Interchangeable Focusing Screen from Canon compensates for decreased brightness due to low reflection from a pellicle mirror. It is an overall bright laser matte and allows for center spot metering. It can be used in select Canon cameras, and works with most lenses.
This focusing screen is the standard screen available with the Canon 1N RS and can be used as the replacement screen if you scratch, damage or break the original.
