Phaser 7500/DT 3-Tray Duplex Tabloid Network Color Laser Printer is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this printer for any business The Xerox Phaser 7500 has been perfect for our business. We use this printer for quite a bit of material including statments for our customers and various marketing materials. The quality is superb. We are able to get vibrant color in the tones we desire. We are a medium sized company of about 300 employees and quite a few people send jobs to our print operator who utilizes this printer. With moderate to heavy use, this machine has held up great. We have had to do normal maintenance, but have not had major issues. I would definately recommend this printer to any company that is looking for a reliable work class printer with great print qaulity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Printer - Some Issues Though I bought this printer for our marketing department and mostly use it for low output, with occassional need to produce hundreds of printouts for emergency brochures, etc. It's fast and easy to use, but the double sided printing is fickle, and getting the machine to understand your print and paper size combinations can be an exercise of trial and error rather than intuitive processes. I'm also not entirely satisfied with the quality of the color. We use the recommended toners, but the colors just don't come out the way I would have expected them to for a printer of this price. Still, I would recommend this printer for anyone looking to do low yield, uncomplicated color printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What an improvement! I've been in the marketing and design industry for years, and when I launched my own agency I needed a quality color laser printer that was economical and great with color. Unfortunately for me, this wasn't the printer I initially purchased. I went for a competitor's machine--mainly for prior brand experience and cost. After a couple years of trying to coax accurate color out of that machine, I gave up and purchased the Phaser 7500. Out of the box it delivered hyper-accurate color without so much as a tweak on my part. The image quality is far superior to the other printer, and it prints faster, too. I can tell my Phaser and I are going to be friends for a long, long time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As long as long-run color isn't critical ... An all in all good printer. I wish some kind of finisher was available for it though. Anyway, The printer is awesome for everyday office printing, and light production of average coverage jobs. However, not so hot for heavy coverage prints, the printer seems to get "tired" and as the imaging units wear down throughout the job, copy 1 has drastically different color from copy 2,500, and unfortunately most of our production is very color critical. When the time comes to replace imaging or transfer units, be prepared to spend a good piece of your day uttering some choice expletives, while you balance & adjust the colors. Once adjusted, its a workhorse, but alas, your back to square one with your next imagining unit replacement, On the other hand, we grossly underestimated our printing volume, and should have sprang for a DocuColor as we consistently shatter the recommended monthly volume by at least double or more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great color and speed We are very happy with the crisp colors, clean lines and excellent text output on our new Phaser 7500. The ability to handle many different paper stocks with consistent output combined with the fast warm-up and quick printing has really improved our office production. We no longer go to outside printers for our small to mid size jobs. When searching for the right solution we found other printers that offered cheaper cost per page but when quality is entered in the mix the 7500 was the clear winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We love our Xerox 7500! We recently upgraded from a Xerox 7300 to the 7500. We have seen tremendous improvements from day one. One of the first things I noticed was the warmup speed. It used be that when the printer went from idle to print, it took forever. Now it is almost instantaneuous, only a few seconds, love the improved responsiveness! Another thing is the print quality. The dot pattern is so small and the clarity is amazing. We bought some of the Xerox glossy card stock paper and are amazed that we have basically been able to replace our Epson with the Xerox glossy prints! Our clients love the quality so much, we have even been able to do some of our small run work in house which we would have never been able to do before! Thank you Xerox, we love our 7500!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Phaser 7500 Our Phaser is a perfectly good piece of equipment but it does not go above and beyond expectations. The print quality is generally good. However, sometimes with intense blacks the ink will seem to melt and smudge fairly badly. Ink usage is fairly conservative but the cost of cartridges is high, as expected. We have no major complaints with this printer, it does its job and and we're going to keep it, but we're not wowed either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Phase 7500 is evil I agree with the other reviewer that all the bells and whistles present more options than a small office with rationed IT help can manage. Can't tell you how much paper we've wasted trying to get a page printed at the right scale, on the right paper, and with the right orientation. It is also true that the printer does not hold its color well and we are constantly having to recalibrate to get something that is even remotely like the image on the screen.
