The 4 Port DualView Mini DisplayPort KVMP Switch with Peripheral Sharing from Iogear allows you to access four computers from a single USB keyboard, USB mouse and dual view mini DisplayPort console monitors. It provides you a combination of 4 port Mini DisplayPort dual view switch and a 2 port USB 2.0 hub.

The built-in USB 2.0 hub enables each computer to access connected peripherals on a one-computer-at-a-time basis. The switch's independent switching feature allows the KVM focus on one computer while the USB peripheral focus on another. This eliminates the need to purchase a separate USB hub as well as a separate stand-alone peripheral sharing switch.

The 4 Port KVMP Switch further improves on previous KVM designs with the latest mini DisplayPort and mini TOSLINK connectors. It provides the capability of digital audio and video to the computers with ultra high resolution of up to 3840 x 2400 or a 3D display with 1920 x 1080 resolution @ 120 Hz. It also provides vivid picture quality as well as surround sound SPDIF connection.

Additionally, the switch is designed with the same size as the new Mac Mini, so you can stack four Mac Minis directly on top of this switch thus saving desk space.

The 4 Port KVMP Switch allows you to share two DualView mini DisplayPort monitors, a keyboard, mouse and speakers between four mini DisplayPort computers with dual monitor support.
The switch provides single link video resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 and dual link video resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600. It supports special monitors with resolutions of up to 3840 x 2400.
The 4 Port KVMP Switch features two USB 2.0 ports for peripheral sharing.
The switch provides digital and analog audio support. It features a mini TOSLINK connector for high definition digital audio signals and 0.14" (3.5mm) audio jack to support 2.1 stereo with full bass response.
It also features one front USB port for charging smartphones and tablets.
The DynaSync technology reads and remembers the monitor's parameters (EDID) without causing a delay or change of video resolution when switching between or booting computers*. 1
The switch has made port switching easy with front-panel touch pad, hotkeys or USB mouse.
The 4 Port KVMP Switch supports asynchronous hotkey switching between KVM focus, USB peripheral and audio ports.
It provides complete keyboard and mouse emulation for error-free booting and real-time switching.
The switch is mini DisplayPort 1.1a and HDCP compatible.
It supports a multi-platform OS including Windows, Mac and Linux.

4 Port DualView Mini DisplayPort KVMP Switch with Peripheral Sharing is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from B&H said it would work, I/O said it would work. Chat with B&H said this unit would work using a MAC and a PC. I/O gear said the unit will work. It doesn't! thunderbolt, Mini DP, DP NG. I/O gear customer service is a joke. When you open the box a piece of paper reads STOP do not return call support for assistance First sign this isn't going to work. I spent too much time and money on Crapy Equipment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says it does. This is a good product that works as it should. It is solidly constructed, and comes with all cables necessary (the cables are good lengths too; no 'too short' cables in the box). My only complaint is that the hotkey switching for Mac simply doesn't work. Hotkey switching (that is, using the keyboard to change inputs rather than pressing buttons on the front of the unit) requires the Scroll Lock key, which Macs don't have. There is a way to change that to the Option key through a menu that is invoked by pressing the Clear key (only on the wired Mac keyboard...) however that never worked for me, nor does it seem to work for anyone else. So, the KVM must be in an accessible place so that you can touch the front panel to manually change inputs when you need to; it would be nice if it could be tucked away and hotkeys for Mac actually programmed into this thing out of the box. Other than that, it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FINALLY a KVM that fit my needs!! Been searching high and low for a KVM that could not only handle dual monitors (widescreen, even!), but also special peripherals, such as my customized Logitech mouse AND Wacom tablet. The IOGEAR handles it all like a dream! I have not been able to figure out the hotkey switching yet, but the on-board touchscreen is easy enough. Yay!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice KVM, not for use with Apple Thunderbolt display This is a really nice KVM and works well with Mini DisplayPort monitors. HOWEVER, this KVM DOES NOT WORK WITH APPLE'S 27 THUNDERBOLT DISPLAY. This is verified by IOGEAR's tech support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will not work with Apple Thunderbolt display Other than the fact that this KVM will not work with a 27 Apple Thunderbolt display it quite nice. IOGear says none of their KVM's work with the Apple Thunderbolt display.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Included cables Still don't get the 8 mDP-mDP cables supplied. Would rather of had 8 mDP-DP cables and maybe go find a mini adaptors if needed. Just saying.
