Watson D-2109 overview

  • 1Description

This Duo LCD Charger from Watson restores power to one or two NP-W126 batteries via the included, dedicated plates. These can be replaced by optional plates for various other batteries. Additionally, the Duo can simultaneously charge two different batteries with different voltages. Charging time is between two and six hours. The unit also features a USB 2.0 port, which enables you to charge and power a mobile device while your camera batteries are being replenished. The LCD screen displays each battery's charge percentage--even when the Duo is unplugged--via the test button.

Running on 100-240 VAC power, the Duo can be used all over the world. It includes a power cord with a 2-prong North American plug, as well as a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into a cigarette lighter.

Duo LCD Charger with Two NP-W126 Battery Plates is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Positive with One Exception This charger charges two Fujifilm NP-W126 or third party alternatives. The charger works fine, and the visual feedback via the LCD screen is nice to have. My one complaint is that I tried removing the charger plates, which supposedly can be replaced with others for different battery types. One came off with no problem. The other is jammed on, and won't come off. I tried a fair amount of force; any more force and I'd be afraid to damage the unit. So, the charger works fine, but the interchangable plates (at least one) don't. I attribute this to low manufacturing tolerances to keep the price down. Overall, I'm satisfied, but I would have liked to use the charger with other batteries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A pleasant surprise I purchased this product to enable me to charge camera batteries for my Fuji in the car. The online specs said it was for 110 volt only power which is fine if you live in the US but not if, like me, you live in Australia where we have 240 volt power. When I received the unit, it specified 100 - 240 volts, which means that I now have a desktop charger as well as a car charger. It also has a USB outlet and one can purchase differentn charging plates for other types of batteries. Great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from After 2 years - still best buy Seriously, this thing is great. Just plop in up to 2 batteries, tells you their status and juices them up. They still have a good load, just take out the battery and skip the charge. Very easy to manage your set of batteries. Clear indication of battery status no reading, arcane, flashing / not flashing, is that amber or orange.... Works well in car also and does not require a power brick just a universal 2 prong power cord. Charging is quick but not overly (quicker = less battery life due to the heat). I have use mine with Fujifilm X I understand other adaptors are available. Most fujifilm users have or should have multiple batteries: I Higly recommended this

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works very well I brought this to charge my Fuji XT2 battery as it's capable of charging at 8.4volts which the XT2 battery requires. I bought a different brand charger before this which would only charge to 7.2volt this left it not fully charged. This Watson charger also allows me to charge my battery from the car cigarette socket when i'm away from a 240v power point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works extremely well Works well. I use for 2 sizes of Fuji batteries and for Nikon. I like that you can see the level of charge in the batteries. It actually fixed my Fuji batteries that seemed to be draining quickly. I no longer use the Fuji chargers that came with my cameras. So far, faster and more reliable than the originals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely something I'd buy again. Absolutely a terrific product. Charges my batteries faster than the charger the manufacturer provided. It can handle multiple types of batteries. This is great since now if I travel with two cameras it can handle both batteries at one time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the Fuji original I recently wrote Fuji an email asking them to do three things: offer a charger that worked faster, charged more than one battery at a time, and provided some indication of how charged a battery actually is. I never heard back from Fuji but a few weeks later I read a recommendation for this Watson charger from none other than Bill Fortney. I've always avoided third-party batteries and chargers but I decided to give this one a try. I'm glad I did. It addresses all three of my concerns. It charged a battery from 25% to full in less than an hourmuch faster than the stock Fuji charger. It charges more than one battery at a time; they can even be different makes and models of battery. And, finally, it shows the charge level of a battery on a backlit easy-to-read LCD panel. Nice. It even comes with a cord for use in an automobile. Well done, Watson.
