I have several Intel nuc's playing movies in offices. I have been just using a hdmi splitter to TV's and it works fine. I now have an office with the JBL CSA-120 connected to the headphone jack on the nuc. But I get noise and static doing it this way. How can i utilized this unit and speaker system that is already there with nuc?

Thanks for all the replies. So I changed from using the 3.5mm headphone jack on the front of the nuc to the JBL's RCA jacks to an HDMI audio extractor to the JBL RCA jacks and that helped. But what fixed the problem completely was that the interference was coming from the network cable going from the switch to the nuc. As soon as I disconnected it the crackling went away. So the nuc will be setup using wireless. I am not aware of anything that will "shield" the nic's patch cable (cat 6).
