The 1RU MBP-100MP Multi-Format Player with 128GB Solid State Drive from For.A supports major file formats used in video production, including various MXF files like XDCAM HD and P2HD. The unit is useful for building a file-based system allowing for the effective use of existing baseband system assets.
The multi-format player is equipped with HD-SDI output and is capable of outputting various files collected in the main unit as baseband signal. The control software uses thumbnail images, which let you confirm the content of recorded clips at a glance. The RS-422 port allows connection to an external controller enables various controls with VTR emulation command.
Applications include bank registration / file receiving terminals and in systems that cannot limit file formats when importing footage. The small EIA 1RU size and vibration-resistant case makes the player suitable for portable and on-board applications.
