This Stainless Steel 1/4" to 3/8" Tripod Adapter/Bushing (Set of 5) from Sunwayfoto is a set of five stainless steel bushings for adapting 3/8" mounts to accept 1/4" screws. Each bushing is designed with a screwdriver slot to make removing the bushing more convenient. This TN-1 bushing has a long internal length that's well suited for a long stud or a deep socket.

If you are looking for a stainless steel 1/4 to 3/8 adapter bushing, this item has the smallest flange size (i.e. lowest profile flange) that I was able to find on the market as of March 2022. The flange size of the Wimberley BS-100 bushing is smaller, but the Wimberley BS-100 is made of brass, so that's not an equivalent comparison (because this item is stainless steel). If the flange size of this item (or the Wimberley) is too big for your needs, you'll probably have to go with a non-flanged bushing.
Threaded right onto my 1/4 stud. Works great.
I picked this adapter/bushing because when inserted in the the 3/8 fitting it is flush with the surface. Makes for a cleaner installation.
This is a flush mounted adapter so you have no interference with it sticking above the surface. Not all adapters are like that and can cause a problem.
This are just what I needed for mounting cameras to my prompter that only accepts 1/4 screws.
Great spares to have as I tend to loose them on the field.
Nice units and much stronger than the Alu ones (bad idea).
