    Canon 5246B011AA reviews

Speedlite 320EX is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 116.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice affordable light Flash is powerful and compares to higher end models in recovery and power. The LED is exceptionally bright and is also a good powerful source for its size and price. Very convenient if you plan on switching from Still to Video or as a modeling light. Battery life seems to be excellent. Controls are limited but also add to the ease of use and forces me to use the camera to adjust Flash Exposure Compensation, which is a better practice anyway. I also tried it as a slave using a 580EX on camera and had no issues. They use a new locking mechanism which works better than the previous dial models that would loosen up after a while. Limitations you should be aware of. This flash does not have a power input for using with a battery pack. It also has two modes. Wide and Telephoto through the use of manually pulling the flash head in and out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, Easy, Reliable! This is truly an awesome flash. Out of the box you can slap in on your camera & start snapping beautiful images that were once impossible to capture without it. I use it with my Canon Rebel T3i and it works flawlessly and exceeds any expectation. I was sort of surprised at how big it is, but that comes with having so many functions and such power and it is very well built. Still, it doesn't add much weight at all. And I love the fact that I can bounce the flash in almost any direction; this is invaluable, as all I do is BOUNCE!!! Bounce of the walls, bounce off the ceiling ...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Speedlite 320EX by Canon I was not really shopping for a flash but decided to get on youtube and looked at some presentations that captured my attention. the built in flash all cameras have is like everything else, you get what yoy pay for. They are toys. This one will go well with your T3i or alike. The remote is ideal, it is easy to use and the powerful LED light is perfect for making HD videos. Do not spend more on a flash for personal use folks. Do not settle for the built in flash your camera has, you bought a DSLR to get better pictures, but without a good flash, you wont complete the task.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LED Light Works For Video I bought this product primarily to provide filler light via the LED when I shoot videos with my DSLR. It works as advertised. In low light conditions, which is primarily what the LED is for, it provides ample lighting so as not to blind the subject, but just enough for a 2.8 apperture lens to capture a good clip. On the flash photography side, it is powerful enough for the type of photography I do, but not as powerful as my bigger Speedlite. At any rate, it is still a more compact device that provides ample flash when needed and an LED bright enough to capture videos in low light conditions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful enough flash - LED light adds versitility I believe the 320EX is best for photographers who need to carry minimal equipment yet require some versatility. Doing event photography, I sometimes need to carry minimal equipment to shoot in crowded spaces. I needed a smaller flash that had more power than my Canon Speedlite 270EX, and decided to give the 320EX a try. I found my results to comparable to using the 430EX, although the lack of an AF assist beam is quite noticeable when using auto-focus. The LED light to be good for close-in videos, and can be used for fill-in light when videoing subjects up to 12 to 15 feet away. A manual control for the flash output would be helpful. I haven't tried the built-in slave flash sync yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A pro's delight: simple, gorgeous light It was only just recently that I was a novice photographer. But now I have turned totally pro by having the 320EX in my camera bag. Using this flash with the T3i that I recently purchased, my fashion and glamour pictures have never looked better. The quality and softness of the light coming from the flash produce an amazing look with skin tones. That sort of color balance is what you want from your flash, especially when taking fine-art portraits of people. The 320EX will be my workhorse flash with the wedding business I'm starting this summer. With its build quality and built-in LED light, I know it will hold out for the several weddings I've already booked. Wedding photographers will definitely love using the 320EX.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not perfect If you are like me, a photo enthusiast who is pretty advanced with many DSLR features but quite ignorant about proper use of flashguns, you'll find this unit quite apt to the job. It is extremely user-friendly and gets the job done in most circumstance. The only reason I won't rate it as. 5 stars is that it seems to me somewhat underpowered. I mean, occasionally I find some photos to be almost identical at the end whether I have fired it or not, with my 5D Mk II having chosen (with a fixed aperture) the same settings for shutter speed and ISO. Other than that, a good choice for those like me, again unwilling to go the extra step needed to learn more sophisticated flash light techniques.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome flash, awesome price! I bought this flash to use with my EOS 7D and my other speedlights (580EX II). They all work very well together. The 320 EX has a surprisingly high output for it's compact size, and I've found that the light it produces is very soft even without any additional diffuser. The LED output is bright enough for very close subjects and a good addition to available light, but it's not quite enough to use as the only light source. The LED lasts a very long time on a set of batteries, and it's a great light source for video use as long as it is not the only light available. The wireless functions of this flash are very useful, it does a great job of controlling my other lights and opens up a lot of options for studio or off-camera lighting. This flash is very well built, it feels much sturdier than other flashes in this price range and has a metal hot shoe mount.
