question

are these good for sporting events?
Asked by: Anonymous
They would definitely work for sporting events. They are very light and small to carry around or put inside purse/bag and the image is pretty crisp. However, once you zoom to the max you might need to stabilize your arms with a fence or your knees if you are seating down because it becomes very sensitive to movement.

question

Is there a tripod available for these?
Asked by: Anonymous
Unfortunately, no. There us in place on these to attach a tripid to. You could rig something with some kind of clamp, but no tripods. They are great binocs bow, sharp, ready to zoom and lightweight. I love them! Great for birdwatching, etc. Hope this helps.

question

Is there a product manual for these binoculars?
Asked by: Anonymous
There is a simple manual for these binoculars but they are very simple to use. Perhaps the only thing to remember when you are fist using them is to make sure the eye piece cover is extended by twisting it anticlockwise. If you cannot seem to focus it would be because you eyes are too close to the lenses. I have six pairs of these binoculars now so I can lend to friends when we go birdwatching. These are the best binoculars I have owned and wholeheartedly recommend them. B&H is the best place to buy them as well as they ship quickly and efficiently.

question

need to know exactly what the case is made out of, please?
Asked by: Anonymous
Did you mean the carry case or the casing of the binoculars? The casing is some sort of plastic composite. It does not seem to scratch easily and cleans well. It is not slippery and therefore is secure when holding it. Great pair of binoculars and this version is better than the previous Nikon 8-24x25 that I had before. The carry case is just plastic to prevent scratches etc. I do not usually bother with this when going out.
