Nikon T11 reviews

8-24x25 Aculon T11 Zoom Binoculars (Black) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A joy to use, but These are a great value. They fit very comfortably in the hands, and the controls are well placed for easy use - one finger for the zoom and one for the focus. Both zoom lever and focus knob are almost silky-smooth Optically, they are adequate - not quite as sharp as my single-power, 9x25 Nikons, but that's to be expected with the additional optics for the zoom. As others said, they are almost impossible to use at highest power because of image shake and darkening, but between 8x and about 18x they are great. Two downsides: One, the case is too small - it won't even close fully. Two, the diopter adjustment doesn't have much range, certainly not as much as my other Nikon binoculars. That's not a problem for people with very minor near or far-sightedness, but I'm 20/70 in one eye and can barely compensate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good There aren't many zoom binoculars out there. The Aculon T11 is one, and good one. It's compact and lightweight. Adjustments are simple. It's bright enough to look at well-lit objects at night. High magnifications are useful but long time use makes me dizzy as it is difficult to hold still. For travelling, sightseeing, concert going, etc, I think it is a good choice. The red version has no rubber surface for better grip, but I think it's OK.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Optics Compact, well made and waterproof. The zoom lever glides without much effort. Focus is well positioned and it offers dioptric adjustment. Has good light transmission at high zoom settings with the expected dropoff at 24X, but still above par. Image is crisp and vibrant. Comes with a case and strap. Overall a good value with quality above it's price range. Would recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good binoculars at a good price The Aculon T11 Zoom Binoculars by Nikon are a very good deal for the money. I needed some casual glasses to keep in my truck for glassing the occasional field or duck pond. For the price, you can't beat them. If you aren't looking for a safari-grade set of binoculars - that you won't cry about if they get broken - then pick up this unit. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Binoculars helped us see African wildlif We just returned from an African safari. We purchased the Nikon binoculars so we would have a compact but powerful way to view the many animals, birds, and other sights in Africa. This product worked out just great for us.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but Powerful Small, lightweight, and convenient to carry on my belt, these binoculars are always with me when I'm not carrying heavier birding-specific binoculars on a field trip. I had a similar pair for almost 20 years and then lost them. Clear image and zoom are appreciated whether birding or at a concert or sporting event. These binoculars hold focus when zooming in better than the old ones I had. Excellent for those who can't or won't carry full size binoculars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rock solid binoculars I bought these binoculars to finally replace other Nikon binoculars I lost when one of our canoes flipped in the Everglades. However, these are much clearer than the sets I lost at all ranges. They are sleek and feel great in the hands. Good size for traveling and being outdoors. Let me also comment on how happy I am with B & H's customer service. The first pair of binoculars I ordered came defective. They replaced them with no hassle. I am a satisfied client.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice binoculars!!! The nikon 8 - 24 variable binoculars are pretty nice for clear and sunny days. This allows me to use it for target shooting, wildlife viewing, and hunting. I really do not need to bring my spotting scope on a hunt any more.
