The slate gray Dashpoint 10 Camera Pouch from Lowepro is a fun and flexible way to always have your point and shoot or smartphone with you. Made from a durable combination of ripstop nylon and polyester, the pouch is lightweight and can be attached to many items ranging from backpack straps to the handlebar of your bike. It attaches, horizontally or vertically, using Lowepro's t-Lock system that wraps around and secures with a firm touch fastener.

Access to your camera is achieved via the dual #5 YKK zippers that have handy pull tabs for even faster opening-especially if you happen to be wearing gloves. The wide-mouth opening means easy retrieval of your camera. Dashpoint 10 Camera Pouch (Slate Gray) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile pouch I own all 3 sizes of this pouch. I like them because they can attach vertically (shoulder straps on a backpack) as well as horizontally (belts). I would give it 5 stars if it could hold a small battery. It has a very small pouch for an extra SD card, but under normal use I never run out of SD card space. This one is a little on the small side, probably too small for all but the smallest point-and-shoot cameras. My iPod classic fits in it, but my phone does not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit the rx100 perfectly I was looking for a case that would fit the Sony rx100 snugly and attach to any backpack strap securely. This fit both of those demands perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small profile I use this pouch with my Sony RX100M3. Snug fit but I can easliy remove the camera (I have the adhesive grip attached). Doesn't hold a 2nd battery, which is alright for me, but it can hold a second SD card in a special pocket. I like that it has several different ways to attach the pouch to belts, pack straps, etc...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from practical bag Bought this for my SONY DSC RX-100, fits it perfectly, has good padding but not really any space for an extra battery (unless you cram it in there) which is what I want to keep the camera as small as possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my RX100 MIII Perfect fit for my Sony RX100 M3. Camera fit snuggly into the pouch. The horizontal and vertical velcro strap makes it convenient and flexible to be mounted almost anywhere you want - on belt, fanny pack, backpack shoulder straps, sling bag straps etc. Definitely a good buy for compact cameras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pouch This pouch fits my Sony DSC-HX9V *perfectly*. I was looking for something to replace my Lowe Alpine D-Res 8S pouch which I have used for years with multiple compact cameras. I am an active outdoorsman and need something that can go on a pack/strap/belt/etc. while I ski, fly-fish, and mountain bike among other things. It needs to be easily accessible with one hand/a gloved hand, have a bomber attachment that is not going to easily get knocked off or fall off whatever it is attached to, and provide some degree of shock and water/weather protection for the camera. The D-Res 8S had filled that role until the velcro began to wear out on the attachment strap, allowing the pouch to come loose or fall off occasionally. Things I like about the Dashpoint 10: + the velcro attachment has been modified and now provides attachment to both horizontal straps (hip belt, belt) and vertical straps (shoulder strap) giving you flexibility in mount options and locations + the vertical strap has 3-way velcro closure which provides a way to lock the vertical strap down so it will not detach easily + the padding/foam inserts are more firm and provide more support and structure to the entire case while still providing enough soft cushion for shock protection for the camera + there are now 2 zippers so the pouch can be open/closed from either side + Lowe has included ties on the zips so they can be easily grabbed with gloved fingers Things that could be improved on the Dashpoint 10: - the vertical velcro strap is significantly narrower (1 wide) than the horizontal strap (2.5 wide), which could cause the loaded/weighted pouch to move/jostle more under more strenuous activity/vibration such as biking, running, skiing, etc...when attached to a hip belt. Ideally the vertical strap is 1.5-2 wide to provide a more substantial connection to a hip belt - the narrower vertical velcro strap is also made of webbed nylon, which tends to stretch, loosen, and loose it's shape when it's wet, stressed, or weighted over time This may be a bit nit-picky, but these are the things that I see happening over time based on years of experience in these situations. I still need to put it through it's paces, but for now this pouch looks to be the best possible solution available that I've found to meet the requirements above. For the price, it's a no-brainer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product This is a good fit for a medium point and shoot like my Sony RX100M3.
    Date published: 2015-01-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awkward design for Sony RX100 This is a poorly designed camera pouch, I believe. A camera must be awkwardly twisted to insert into the pouch or to remove, increasing the chance the camera might be dropped. The Sony RX100 does not fit into this pouch. Maybe in Lowepro's quest for clever design, they have failed.
